This method only works if you're attached to a trailer, correct? Bobtail you'd roll without applying the footbrake while released in neutral right? Thanks.. great video 👊🏾
I believe this is a scam. I feel as if the oil companies tampered with your trucks so you must keep your engines idling frequently just to keep your cabin at a comfortable temperature. That’s why the climate control doesn’t work when you are in optimal idle mode to save money and fuel. If the corporations wanted to they could have made all the trucks mild hybrids back in 2010 with electric a/c compressors and every truck parking spot could have a simple 120 Volt outlet to plug in to a basic extension cord and you can run your trucks accessories, heater, A/C, toasters, fridges, microwaves, TVs , etc, without the engine running and all the trucking companies and drivers would be richer because they have a lower overhead costs.
This only works when I’m connected to the trailer but not the tractor on its own sadlyb
