great video. I used this exact process to solve for the drag of my high powered rocket after burn out phase. I made a few youtube videos on it because i wanted to share how to do some cool things in excel. i want to learn more. where and how can i do that? i want to learn things such as using excel to validate bridge designs, or structural designs, or other pipes etc. If i were to work for the state as an engineer, i would need to be able to create calculations and then have them reviewed by others. thanks

This is the stuff i am wanting to learn now before i graduate. I LOVE my classes, but i need to learn some more practical outside examples. Machine design was one of my favorite subjects. I want to learn more of using excell for engineering, not just numerical methods and solving for eulers method. But i want to actually do things like this

Awesome man, thanks for the help! Really, it would be nice to get an entire sheet for all the equations, I've been trying, but it takes so long to be learning both things at once. Still it's kinda fun that way though too. But really, I've been working on some projects that would require special mathematics that I do not currently possess.. I figure that I have to prove by numbers that my designs can work because everyone is pretty skeptical about it.

Thank you! I have been pouring over a physics thesis and study for the last 12 months and I just could not find a way to use goal seek effectively. I have also never used the function for assigning 'names' to formula values, that is an incredible method for simplifying equations. This will allow me to finally start moving forward. From the bottom of my heat, thank you.
