What if we pluck it all out?
I lost my cat to this today because I could t pay for the dislodge
dikweed...the stupid loud obnoxious music is absolutely annoying and unnecessary🙄, it makes the video unbearable🖕
I realize that this is an old video but I hope you see this. I found your explanation of TECA-BO to be very helpful and educational. My cat had this surgery 9 months ago to remove a cancerous growth. Now he has started to shake his head and scratch the surgery site. My vet put him on Baytril and prednisolone for 2 weeks but it didn't help. It was recommended that I get a CT scan or ultrasound. I am very worried about another surgery and I am scared to death about the possibility that the cancer has come back . Is there a chance that it's an infection that is resistant to the antibiotic given? Have you come across this situation in cats? Most of the information I've researched has been about canines. Some advice, please?

We have just had a suggestion for this procedure now on to a referral . Im so worried for her. She's a Brussels Griffon.
Best explanation I’ve seen on RUclips. My dog is having this procedure today to have a adenocarcinoma removed from her left ear canal. I’ve so nervous for her.
Best of luck!
Awesome Ross!!!
Ross, it took you 8 months, man!! LOL
Could you do a talk please on peca bo for rabbits with lopped ears
This is exactly what I want to do vet surgeries on all types of exotic animals, what do you recommend college students do to get there? I’m studying zoology currently
Thank you ! so easy to understand !
Adoro-te Ross!
Very informative, especially now in winter! ❄️
It's not like we are testing all the pets to actually know, just like the kids. Asymptomatic is still contagious
That's actually not true at all. During the first five months of the COVID-19 outbreak (January 1 - June 8, 2020), which includes the first twelve weeks following the March 11 declaration by the WHO of a global pandemic, fewer than 20 pets have tested positive, with confirmation, for SARS-CoV-2 globally. There have been fewer than 25 reports from around the world of pets (dogs and cats) being infected with SARS-CoV-2; however, none of these reports suggest that pets are a source of infection for people.
@@DrRossBernstein how many pets have been tested?
@@hippieJOSH420 In a French study, tests (RT-PCR and antibody evaluation via an immunoprecipitation assay) performed on 21 pets (12 dogs and 9 cats) living in close contact with their 20 French veterinary student owners (2 of whom were confirmed to have COVID-19 infection and 11 more of whom showed symptoms consistent with COVID-19) all yielded negative results. Two commercial laboratories in the United States reported they have tested (RT-PCR) thousands of specimens from dogs and cats for SARS-CoV-2 and have obtained no positive results. There is no evidence to suggest that animals, including pets, that may be incidentally infected by humans are playing a role in the spread of COVID-19. Human outbreaks are driven by person-to-person transmission.
@@DrRossBernstein so what about the multiple mink and zoo animals that have tested positive?
CDC is aware of reports of a new strain of SARS-CoV-2 virus in mink in Denmark that is also present in the local human population. Based on reports from Denmark, it appears that mink became infected after exposure to people infected with the virus, and the virus then mutated and spread from mink back to humans. This new strain, called “Cluster 5,” has not been seen before and is made up of five mutations.
Ooooooh its to painfull

Hi vet rozay
Hey! 👋🏻
Amazing!
Bendiciones
Hello sir, this is a wonderful video and a great insight to a wildlife case but at one part you said that your suspicion of foreign body obstruction was correct after doing procedures for diagnosis. Did you see something on radiographs or USG? (if yes, would have loved to see it on the video; How did you confirmed the diagnosis)
Thank you! Yes, on abdominal ultrasound we saw contents in the stomach consistent with foreign material. It was very dark in the room and the pictures were not good
These vedios are really interesting Hope you keep making more
Hola
The plexiglass model that shows cranial thrust is so cool! Did someone make it? Thank you for this video!
Thank you for watching! It’s a really nice model. It’s made by veterinaryimplantsdirect.com
Thank you for sharing this interesting case Dr. Ross. It helps future and current vets be alert for incidents like this. I'm sorry to hear that the dog's case was an infausta one. May i ask if there's any relation between the puncture wounds and the edema of the lungs? As in the pathophysiology of it. Thank you=)
Amazing
Interesting
I love your video
