Here's a history lesson for those who love to open their bigoted mouth and say black people were too lazy and never built anything. Every time we built something they came and destroyed it.
Too many chief ruined everything people that should be in our community cross play is Negro and they’re not getting our benefits. They did not deserve we’re gonna get all that straight now you have to get yours from your leaders in your own country. We can’t go to your country to get any kind of benefits and we’re gonna do that here in America you’re not getting anything.
Pretty cool history
BLACK WALNUT STREET!!
government’s Never ending cycle of urban development, not giving a sh*r about where displaced people go. It’s disgusting. Native American Indians didn’t have a choice but to get displaced or get killed. Best to own land and learn home steading.
Real Facts.💯💯
Mamouth Life rivaled Atlanta life till they merged.
Hello
Reparation and land is a most.!!!!
So sickening.!! How they see them Bringing themselves up and yet again they make a plan to destroy it.!! Cant wait for the most high too handle the racist disgusting humans in America.!!!
Smh
The lady was correct when she said that all of those thriving businesses would've been passed down to the next generation. To think the biggest bank owner here in Louisville was owned by a black man in those days makes me smile. My grandma was M Ali's nurse. She told me stories about music scene here. Just what if..... All Love for equality! 👊
real. BLACK WALL STREET.....THIS HAPPENED TO US JUST LIKE IN OKLAHOMA.
So true. My grandma talks about this all the time as did my great aunt. So sad. We need our reparations!
Seneca Village too. What is now Central Park. And countless others smh.
All the more reasons for reparations. Sheer wickedness under the guise of urban renewal...
Es una historia!
So a federal program designed presumably by do good white-liberals in Washington, destroyed the black community in Louisville. Sounds about right...
Hello Kevin, great slide show. This morning, I did post 2 videos regarding the event on February 15, 2019. Check it out an let me know your thoughts.
Niggas like niggas to be Dumb, too in Louisville
Awesome! Keep up the great work!
Lived in Louisville Kentucky for 2 years as a child. Lived at 1642 South 32nd St, building 36; yes, it was the projects and my family's first home. Lived there from 1961- July 1963 then we moved out to Ft Knox Kentucky.
They saw this community thriving and came to destroy and tear apart what we built as usual..
And the last remaining building honors the memory of an unsolved murder... Some people are truly poison.
Interesting to look back on the city's history, and see how and why things have changed. However, Doug Proffitt needs to quit using the FALSE word, African-American to describe BLACK people. Even though their ancestors likely came from Africa, these people are NOT African. If you want to play this stupid, politically-correct game, start putting false hyphens in front of white people as well, based on where their Eastern European ancestors came from.
that history goes to the black in the Smithsonian the black Smithsonian in Washington DC
