October 2024, back to where it started after Milton passed by...... I see the earth moving team is back on the beach as of 11/22/24.

I used to live there (22 years, full time) and we had to get out. It's horrible and polluted, with a shiny veneer. Everything is slowly crumbling and terribly polluted, plus cancer epidemics and tons of dead animals. Don't believe the hype.

How in the world could you leave Sale e Pepe off your list? The view , the food , the service, there is no place better on Marco .

My brother and I moved to Marco back in 1978 and lived in the apartments across from the residents beach. Back then it was the public beach. It wasn’t built up nearly as much as today. Had some good times at the Snook Inn. I would still be there had we not smoked so much weed and been evicted, lol. Years later my wife and kids would go back for vacation and rent a condo at Tiger Tail (South Seas). It’s a beautiful place for sure.

Hi Paul, fantastic video, very well done! Did you have to get clearance from the resort for the drone shots? The resorts I've been to didn't allow drone flights over people unless approved by management. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Noyack Long Beach

This is West Hampton. All the beaches along that coast are the same. This one has a parking lot and is open to the public for $51 if you get there early enough on a busy day. The rest of the beaches offer little and only resident parking. Smart move is to bike in from the town.

I want to go to NYC again by myself, with my siblings, and my mother because my narcissist dad ruined the first one by arguing and yelling at us for no reason. Cause of that he started having a mental breakdown saying were mean to him for not listening to all the rude stuff he said.

I take my kids to Montauk. It's a great place to go if you want a relaxing time in nature and to feel safe. A head waitstaff person was rude to us at Navy Beach and it was quite off putting since dinner there is expensive! I tipped our waiter well so upon leaving, jackass tried to make nice! That was the only bad experience. We truly love it there!

We live in West Dennis during summer but always make several trips to Chatham. Love downtown always buy my niece cloths at Chatham Kids, sister-in-law stays at Wayside so frequent The Goose, always grab a drink at Squire or CBI beach lawn or the beach bar. Take boat to Monomoy, beaches harbor. Catch baseball game at Veterans and our favorite restaurant Del Mar is just outside of downtown.

You do realize that it is a federal violation to fly your drone that close to seals and whales... As much as they are a nuisance and currently overpopulate our waterways, decimating the fish population, it's still illegal to disturb them in any way...

Any discussion of Montauk's beach food highlights MUST include Joni's on S. Edison. In town just two blocks from the sand, they make the most delicious and healthy (often organic) wraps and sandwiches, hot and cold plates, smoothies and a throwback vibe that feels like pure holiday. Great service; closes around 3 every day.

This is written by someone who clearly isn't a native. They don't know the majority of smaller beaches on LI, and instead concentrated solely on the hamptons and fire island.
