That is an awesome example of a cj5 super jeep! 1 of about 300 makes that one of the rarest jeeps ever! I also have a ‘73 super jeep. It has been painted over with brown and the seats have been changed but still has the white dash and dash pad and the rubber wheel lip extensions. I am planning to paint it it’s original color, champagne white and restore it to original condition. The firewall plate also has the SSR&O number and it is indeed a super jeep. Interesting story behind mine is that my father bought it in 1987 for a daily driver. He had no idea it was a super jeep. It was a rust bucket back then and he fixed it up. According to the previous owner, it had been painted and stripped but he had no idea it was a super jeep. He drove it for four years until ‘91 when he parked it in a barn and it sat for 30 years until we pulled it out and got it running again. Only then had we done some research and found out it was a super jeep. Amazing!

I owned a Dark Night Blue '83 CJ7. Absolutely gorgeous. Yes it sold for big bucks. Now '85 CJ7, T5, AC, 5.0 Ford. '85 and '86 have galvanized tubs and do not rust! Faux Limited.
