    Do you feel that the Miscanthus you are selling to outdoorsman isn't going to affect the native ecosystem? "Sterile hybrid" is what people said when they sold bradford pears back in the day.

    I for one thank you! I know very little about tag reading so I appreciate your time teaching this warning in a simple manor. I never really look at seed coating specs but I sure will from now on. I was just on your site looking into snow/privacy barriers to go between property lines after seeing your ad for Giant Miscanthus rhizomes. On my short list here for sure. We just got 2ft of snow here but 4 times that depth blew across my neighbors pasture and man it buried my truck. I gotta end that asap..lol Thank you!

      I have a few good patches in my low land hunting area. I tested it for two years now. The ones in full sun are 8 feet tall. I am so impressed that I am ordering several more bags to plant as extended screening cover around my plot this year.

    That looked like an awfully thin stand of CIR. My CIR looks nothing like that. Grew to 6 to 7 feet tall and did well over winter, and I'm in MN so we throw the kitchen sink at it as far as nasty conditions goes. I'll be planting real world this year to compare to my shawnee and CIR. We'll see how it goes. It'll have to really be something special for me to justify spending double the cost. The CIR and shawnee have looked really good

    If farmers are so educated, why do some of them plant annual grasses and clovers into their gay mixtures ? Probably the same reason it’s in food plot mixtures, to help the plot green up and start producing forage faster while the perennials grow to edible size. After a year the perennial part of the crop is finally established and there’s no reason for the annual parts of the seed blend to be there anymore. Also, I’m pretty sure the coating is fancy colors to help see the seed during applicAtion. As seed professionals, I’m sure you already know all this, so why all the hype and inaccurate advertising. I plant your soybeans, they are great. Just let the product speak for itself.

      I think you missed the purpose of the video. Some other company blends have 30% inoculation or seed coating. WE ARE TELLING PEOPLE THEY DO NOT NEED THAT JUST LIKE YOU. The point is that there is products out there that are a scam and simply a waste of money. When you learn to read the seed tag like a farmer you see through it. And yes, our products do stand on themselves but we are about education. Thanks for buying our soybeans. Hope you see the intent of the message. Good luck this year.

    Regarding your Gen 2 beans, I noticed a difference in the number of days to germination doing a "rag doll" test. I assume that's because of the different varieties? Thanks

    • @realworldwildlifeproducts5512
      @realworldwildlifeproducts5512 7 лет назад

      Paul S Varieties of the 4 beans are like children, they will all have different characteristics and germ time is one. Hardness of seed coat plays into water absorption also. Temperature will be a factor also but in a germ test they are likely equal on temp.
