A thought about being “in the moment”.

After looking at one of my paintings, I noticed it was as if I was looking at it for the first time. It caused me to think it was because I was in the moment when I made it.

One of my ponderings was triggered by a word in a crossword puzzle I was doing. Every single time I see or hear that word I think of my late sister. It’s a random word, but it always reminds me of her. There are several words in my life that evoke feelings. I’m wondering if there are words that bring people or circumstances to mind for you.

Memorial Day is a good day for honoring my son, Casey, a Specialist in the Army who was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. He died 2 months before his 25th birthday. (Sorry for the shaky video. I haven't had a chance to master editing but wanted to share this today.
