Hi Pastor Al! Its Jane, Cliffords wife. Just wanna say that in this study you just sum up who I am in my old man haha. I am amazed by how God works in our lives. This is exactly what God is working on me now, helping & guiding me to detach myself from my earthly attachments. It was a painful process to see and admit who I am in my old man but it is freeing. Ive gone through a lot of disappointment in my life for not achieving the things that I attached myself into with the belief that it will make me happy and more valuable as a person. I used to believe that being successful in areas of life will make me gain people’s respect. That desire for respect and acknowledgement is rooted by my painful experiences of being insulted and being looked down by people almost my intire life because I grew up in a poor family and due to lack of education (having a degree is a thing in the Philippines hehe). But all glory to God, God guided me to realize and understand that my lifes purpose is not to get peoples approval, respect or acknowledgment nor to prove myself to everyone. Though it what zi have gone through was painful, I am grateful because now I understand the purpose of God why it has to happen. Those attachments I have will never make me happy. Now I understand why every time I achieve something that I thought will make me happy I always end up unsatisfied I always feel like its never enough, like there is still an emptiness in my soul. And thats it! My earthly attachment will never make me happy. I am still far from the goal. But I am very grateful to the Lord for sending me people that will help me achieve it through His grace. You are one of the people whom God sent that have major impact in my spiritual growth. Pastor Al, Thank you so much for your dedication in teaching. We may not always express our gratitude but know that you have been an instrument of God to change lives. And I am one of those people whom life has changed. From the day I have first reached out to you, a depressed, anxious, suicidal girl to now. Desiring to fulfill my purpose on earth. God is so good! God bless you Pastor Al!

Hello brother Al, greetings from Las Vegas.

Al please keep the warning’s coming. The avoidance numbness, constant distractions which makes this lifestyle so easy is sooo loud. The church history was so beneficial to me coming from religion then knowledge idolatry. Thank you!

Christ coming in the flesh upended Gen. 6:1-4…..?

This lesson is a soul full. To realize these truths in real time, in God’s timing, is to see in action the hand of God putting everything in place for our transformation. We just have to be alert enough to see what God allows, He intends for our good.

Amen! There is so much evil in this world, all around us. There are times when we feel it so heavily, that the only thing we can do is slam it on the Lord, one breath at a time.

Great lesson to look to our idols for answers to problems.

We all need to stop and take a good look at what is destroying families. Generational sin is real. It’s not about pointing fingers and being angry or bitter because of injustices that have occurred and caused so much pain and agony. We have to forgive and let go of resentment or we become part of the problem and the generational issues become more deep and continue to destroy lives! Jesus said in this life we would have pain and sorrow. When we suffer He makes us like Him! I’m 73 years old and I’ve suffered many things from child abuse to rape, etc. I’ve actually learned to thank God for the suffering in my life as I’ve identified with Jesus humanity and He’s taught me to forgive all who have harmed me in any way. I’m not going to say it’s easy to forgive so many offenses but I’m a free person now and those who have expressed bad feelings toward me will have to work out their ill feelings on their own. I’ve asked all to forgive me if I’ve wronged them in any way and I no longer carry bad feelings but love and pray God’s grace and mercy for all. I think the most difficult to deal with is our family members! God forgives and loves all and He’s given me enough love and mercy to do what He does! Amen

That is a great deception. Religion clarifies and promotes the evil of sin, yet intentionally clouds the numerous kinds of idolatry and the harm it brings. You've shown me that this is the true issue between God and the believer. Christ on the Cross solved the barrier of sin between God and man. The Father was propitiated. I always struggled with David being a man after God's own heart while committing murder and adultery. David was severely disciplined, but never turned from the Lord. Solomon demonstrated the difference as he followed a similar sin journey (generational) as his father David. The difference was Solomon in his latter years showed God his back. Thank-you for providing a doctrinal explanation into the thinking of God and how He operates personally, individually, but also nationally when WE abandon Him no matter the generation or the dispensation.

Sometimes you have to get personal while maintaining your privacy. Sometimes you have to open yourself up, if you want people to understand and follow in any leadership role. As believers we must apply and demonstrate how God's truth works within us, but can be seen outwardly in our decisions and choices. That includes our mistakes and failures. (We know that from those divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit who exposed their innermost thoughts written within their contribution to the Word of God.) There will be times when the believer will need to show their feet of clay before all those little piggies are counted by others. Walk the Talk because none of us are free of the clay little piggies. Your strength to showing yourself to others becomes more genuine when a believer lets go of dependency on the opinions of others and this world and places one's dependency on Jesus Christ & the eternal. No expectations needed.

3rd listen and each time its getting more clear. Lord bring the rain.
