You have the only video on yt of this playing on the Switch after the patch was released, every other vid is from 4 years ago. It looks like the framerate is pretty solid? Is there any replay value?

Hello my friends, in this video you will watch a full gameplay of Gibbon Beyond the Trees including liberation stage, but in this section of the game you have to save animals in the cage, but I got bored after about two hours of playing, so I did not finish the liberation stage completely. Yes, it is. I liked the style of the game and how you can control two different characters and how they help each other to finish the stage
@ just picked it up on sale on the Eshop and played the first two levels and I am already hooked to this game. You can see the passion and hard work that went in the games. The controls are not perfect (for example missing jumps or falling off ledges) but that's okay, it just means you have to try harder.
Did you ever have any issues with the game not saving? When it released it had a save bug, hopefully it was fixed.
