Feel free to keep scrolling or just tell me how dumb I look posting this in the yt comments idc I think my bf of 7 months is going to leave me (for context i've known him for 5 years now but we started dating last year a little bit after he ended a pretty long relationship) he has had some troubles dealing with his last breakup plus other personal stuff but it never stopped him from loving me and giving me all the attention, time, care and responsability a relationship (especially with someone like me) carries, we've been through so much together, and sometimes the only thing we've got were ourselves, I've been beside him and so he is for me since then but now things seem to start cracking up a bit and it scares me since I thought things were fine, we've been more open to each other about each others issues and in general things were going great, even better than before. He says he doesn't want to hurt me by not being fully sure of being with me and still having issues about his past relationship and I get that, but I don't want to leave him, I've grown and progressed so much thanks to him, he's good for me and he also says he feels the same about me and feels happy around me, he's slowly reintegrating to therapy and said he will ask his psychologist tomorrow what he should do about us and I'm very worried. He also doesn't want to break up, but I'm aware that if he decides that he thinks and feels like breaking up is the best option I'll accept it soon or later, I'll just step back and vanish forever from his life, and even if it kills me I'm okay about it if it makes him feel better, if at the end that's what he truly needs to be better and not me, but at the same time, I don't want to lose him, I don't want to forget him, I don't want to leave him, I don't want to stop loving him, I don't want to stop loving, I don't want to go back where I was before we met or even started dating, he's the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time and I want to make him feel as loved and happy as he makes me feel, I don't want to be just a failed experience of a few months, I want to love him like no one has ever done it for him, we have so many things we haven't done yet but we've planned them I don't want to lose that. I read the description and sometimes (most of the times really) I feel like that too. Don’t hate your life. Things suck, but sometimes you need a breather. Take a stroll. Just a walk while the sun falls out of the sky. Or during sunrise. Because life may suck, but looking and appreciating nature can give the illusion of it sucking less, and that’s what it’s all about. Seriously tho, don’t hate your life, there’s endless opportunities, endless things to see and watch, and study, and appreciate. There’s so much to do. I know, sometimes you’re overthrown and overwhelmed with responsibilities and you just want to disappear for a while. I know, it happens to the best of us. When you get that feeling, just stop. Doesn’t matter if your assignment is gonna go late, if you’re gonna get yelled at it doesn’t fucking matter. What matters first is your mental health. So when you feel like that, stop whatever you’re doing and go for a walk. Honestly, do that. Appreciate every bit of nature, even if you live in a concrete jungle, appreciate the trees that are as artificial as the people living in those fancy pansy buildings, appreciate them. Go inside an abandoned terrain, who tf cares, it’s abandoned. Appreciate the loneliness and quiet of it. Clear your mind. Rest. Breathe. And remember, there’s always more to life than it seems.
