On my Durge run, we're having a successful romance (he included thr bit about not expecting to fall for Durge), but on my good run, I used insight petty early to realise he was lying and am going for Gale.

Before playing the game i was really excited about Astarion, because of how his fans talk about him and how obviously the game devs love him, but once i started to play, he went from a funny guy to an annoying brat, and then got disgusted by him when he said that he'd like to watch Karlach and my female durge, i've heard homophobic cis hetero men say it about lesbian couples irl too many times and have no idea why game devs thought that it was a good idea to make him say it.
