Time is a human concept, and yes I believe God/Jesus is outside of time but he does work throughout time. Time gives meaning to matter. Now about people being in hell or not I look at it like this; we can agree that the passage of time ceases to exist when we die. We can also understand this when we fall asleep we cannot perceive the passage of time so you don’t how much time has passed from the time you close your eyes to the time you open them again. We can only understand it because we have external factors like clocks, sunlight, temperature etc. For those that don’t understand there are no seconds, mins, hours,days,years when you die. So if we understand that God already knows what will happen before the foundation of the world because he is omniscient and omnipresent. That being said God can perceive all of time in a moment. So I speculate that the moment you die and the moment the rapture and the final judgment happens ,it has already occurred to God and he knows who is going to end up in hell. So for our linear minds that work and operate in time we can’t comprehend that when you die and when you stand in front of God it all happens in one millisecond of our understanding of time.

The main stumbling block with the doctrine of election are the natural objections Paul takes us through in Romans 9, which is "Why does he [God] still find fault?" Why does God create people he has no desire to save and then sentence them to eternal torment? That is where the mind logically goes and what keeps people on this hamster wheel. If so then what would the proper steps of quote-unquote divorce look like?" Okay 1.) I am bothered that these people are bothered how a marriage in God's eyes ( in other words God's will or favor ) is a problem to these people. 2.) A question was asked and never answered instead they went on a rant about their general opinion on what people should do. 3. Yes we know divorce should not be something taken lightly, neither should marriage. Jesus stated himself that let no one come between what the father has joined, and that we should not divorce, but because our hearts our cold he permits divorce, but only where one has committed adultery, or sexual sin. So why wasn't the question answered. The Bible clearly speaks of various ways people got married long before there was a marriage license which today people clearly see it as a financial gain once divorce had happened. If there is divorce without a pre nup there is chaos, courts, and a lot of problems. Having faith and following a true marriage would be good. Though a true marriage isn't defined anywhere in the Bible ever that says you "Must" have a license. The best answer I can give from a biblical perspective. Is to pray to Jesus, pray to God. Ask your question to the father, research God's word, research biblical history, etc Keep praying until you find the answer. These people didn't seem to have one. God will.

I am solid in my convictions and know exactly how I will vote; however, I have some friends that are elderly Christians that continue to vote Democrat out of habit. Baffles me, but I think that they probably just don't have a full understanding of the platforms.

Those who are alive will be caught up together with the dead in Christ and be transformed in the twinkling of the eye. Does this not mean that those who die as believers are simply asleep right now, waiting to be awakened when Jesus comes. From our point of view, when we die we go to sleep, then awaken and are present with the Lord on His day.

Great beginning but then ended up relying on man made interpretations/application of the sabbath. You also missed Christian history where the 7th day was recognised as the sabbath/holy.

There is no days of the week in the Bible to know when the sabbath really is. All it says is the 7th day. The Jewish observe it on Friday to Saturday

What? No! The Sabbath(Saturday) and the Word of God have never been abrogated. No follower of Jesus in the Gospels knew any other "Lord's Day" but the Sabbath/Saturday (Mat. 24:20), and "they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment" (Luk 23:56). The idea of ​​Sunday replacing the Sabbath/Saturday is biblically indefensible. Unlike the Sabbath/Saturday, the "first day of the week" has no seal of sanctity given by Jesus/God. Period. This was astoundingly stupid and painful to watch. First you didn't even answer the question that was asked, which calvinist never can because of the truth of their system makes them sound stupid so they danced around answers. You have the honesty at the end to acknowledge that your answers based on Calvinism are logically incoherent, but then you punt to hoping it makes sense to God. That's waving the White flag but hoping it looks like the flag of victory to God. Calvinism is not taught by Jesus. Determinism is not taught by Jesus. And compatibilism is a word admitting that your system is logically incoherent. It's a bandaid on a wound of blasphemy against the character of God. Everyone head over to Soteriology 101 and learn more, because this nonsense is just sad.

This was frustrating. So little to chew on. Lots of fluff. I would’ve like to have heard how Calvinists escape the logical railroad that leads to a hyper-Calvinist conclusion. Did Christ die for all, or select individuals unconditionally chosen before the foundation of the world? Did we inherit Adams sin or Adams sin nature? I’m not so sure that these guys are fully aware of the logical implications of what they believe… I see this a lot. Calvinism is attractive because of its adherents like Vodie, J Mac, Washer, etc. so people accept it as likely true, but don’t really dive in to deep. If they did, they’d realize how difficult the systematic is to support.
