SpaceX Starship IFT-4

We were 5 miles away from Starbase on the south end of South Padre Island. Almost nothing to see of the launch due to the haze but the sound was fantastic.

Hanger C at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station has a bunch of restored rockets/missiles and other items. I believe the public can tour this with a tour through the Sands museum.
SpaceX booster landing from 1.8 miles away
Просмотров 36110 месяцев назад
This was from Hanger C at the lighthouse. We were 1.8 miles away from LZ-1. This was the Axiom 3 launch on 1/18/2024. The sonic booms ripped right through my body! Amazing!
ULA launch of Vulcan
Просмотров 15111 месяцев назад
This is the first launch of ULA's new rocket, Vulcan. It's carrying the Peregrine lunar lander made by Astrobotic. Video was shot with an iPhone from 13 miles away in Titusville, Fl. When the color changes from white to blue that's when the SRB's completed their burn and jettisoned. The BE-4 engines burn blue because of the methane fuel.
SpaceX Falcon 9 night launch
Просмотров 216Год назад
I'm posting this to show how bright a rocket launch is at night. I was 13 miles away from SLC-40 and watching from Titusville. This was Starlink 6-17 launched on 9-19-23. I recorded this on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. This was my 189th launch and it never gets old!

Air Force One used by Presidents Kennedy through Clinton. It’s a heavily modified Boeing 707 VC137C. Since it was used by President Kennedy it also flew his body back to Washington DC after his assassination. It’s on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton Ohio.

Video shot from 12 miles away at Rotary Park in Titusville so it takes a bit for the sound. Taken with an iPhone 12 max pro.
SpaceX Falcon Heavy side boosters landing
Просмотров 135 тыс.Год назад
This is the side boosters from the Falcon Heavy launch of USSF-67. Wait for the sonic booms, they were amazing from 2.5 miles away. We watched from old SLC-9 on Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Camera work wasn’t my best as the lighting made it hard to follow.
Artemis 1 launch from 3 miles away
Просмотров 627 тыс.2 года назад
Artemis 1 launch as seen from the Saturn V Center (3.3 miles away) at Kennedy Space Center. Put on headphones to listen to the intense sound and the crackle from the SRB's. You can also hear the building behind us chirping with the sound reverberating off of it.

JUST THE SOUUUUUUUUUUUUUND of it is MENTAL!!!
You’re saying the captain might be in trouble for asking you all to sing I think is pretty funny, but if that was true that would actually be really good for me because I don’t like the happy birthday song at all because it’s so terrifying for me to listen to!
I saw the sounds
hmmm if he ever gets to the rate of more than one starship launch per day, people in that area gonna be sick of the noise lol
I don’t see anything…😢
Shame about the haze and low clouds, But wow it sounds like it’s ripping apart the sky.
The booster landings never get old. Amazing.
If I came back from space in one piece, I wouldn't just have one drink - I'd have the bottle!
That sounds 💀💀
We'll be on the Vista in October and are super excited! 😊
Im sailing on the Vista next weekend. I can't wait.

great camera work.
It was 30 engines at lifoff..
Great shot Are you shooting from Margaritaville?
Yes from the 7th floor.
How far away you were from the pad?
6 Miles.
BRING THIS THING TO KSC! 😍
This video so far has the best sound!! Amazing! The most powerful vehicle ever!!
Bro ur literally 6 - 9 km away from where it launched bc u can hear the sound in 0:20 in the video and it started its launch in 0:00 btw it sounds like a gun or a minigun in 1:00 god damn that smoke or that mushroom cloud in 2:05 is huge its fucking unbelievable that a rocket can lift off even its 0.12km tall and as heavy as 5,000,000kg
Sure made a beautiful sound!
Mo Fizzle Fo Elon Snizzle.
"Starship quickly leaves the frame but just listen to the sound of the 33 Raptor engines!" 27*
So cool!!!
The sound of freedom!
American?
Question 1. Why didn't you follow it up? Question 2. Why didn't you let it play long enough so we could hear the RUD and see it raining back down? Other than that great exhaust audio capture.
I was busy taking pictures so I had to have the video fixed. Plus it would have been a hand held video and those don't normally come out well. We could just barely hear the RUD but if I had known I would have let it run. This was 162nd launch and it's normally not an issue to stay focused on what I'm doing but this one was just a big WOW.
It was a test flight and it was overall a success in that it got off the ground in its first flight - from here they examine all of the data and make improvements and modifications - they learned a lot - the beauty of SpaceX is that they are transparent and are legit - only NASA with primitive technology from 53 years ago could successfully land men on the moon 6 times between 1969-1972 without a fatality or catastrophic accident in those 6 manned missions totaling nearly 3 million miles in flight from earth to the moon and back - nudge nudge wink wink
WHOS MAKING POPCORN
Rush fan?
Why normal people have better sound than professional streamers?
Because they are further away. Streamers like NSF or EA are closer, and their high-tech mics are just not designed to cope with this massive overload of sound. I guess they will need some more special equipment for the next test :)
Sounds like she's running a little rough.
Thanks was waiting for a video from distance!
this camera can´t point @ the sky
Nice tracking broooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Amazing Audio. Thanks so much.
Ouch my ears... 😎🇨🇦
awesome footage, thanks for sharing!
