I have a couple of these trucks. In the united states , they go by the brand Legendary Nitro or imex . They are not great trucks even with all the aluminum parts. They're good for what they are But they definitely are not Super durable Or built for bashing in my opinion. You definitely push the limits of these trucks Respect

I've found best results with CNHL Batteries .U will really gain 5 to 10 miles an hr with them...

Working on manky diffs pisses me off, I hate it.! I don't mind it when the RC is new but when they've been used they get filthy.! The Diffs are definitely a weakness on FTX cars, I've lost count of how many I've replaced over the years.! It's also my least favourite time of the year for driving RCs, Autumn.. when all the leaves are on the wet ground, they get turned into a horrible paste that sticks everywhere.! You asked why the SR80 makes more noise than the SR85, the reason is the SR80 being a V style hull isnt very stiff on the bottom of the hull. So noise resonates (hull bottom flexes more) a lot more then on the SR85 cat hull, The bottom of the SR85 is very stiff due to the multipull changes in the shape of the hull. Making it stiff.

The reason for the holes in the deck is to let air out of the flood chamber when it fills with water. If you only have the holes at the rear of the hull, when it starts filling the flood chamber with water. Air is trapped inside the chamber, this stops the chamber from fully being filled with water, due to a trapped air lock in the chamber. With holes at the front of the chamber, this allows water to flow into the chamber at the same time as the water pushing the air out of the front holes. Its all cleaver stuff lol.
