I've planned to do that in some of my future projects, but most animatics I make probably won't have that.

I like the irony in that line, since at the end they _do_ become allies. And thanks! Even though small, simple animations like eye blinking are things I've often done in the past, I don't think I've ever done an eye animation quite like the one at the end.

I'm glad I managed to nail the movement without references.

@@Artgirl98 To be fair, while drawing the background, I was watching a movie on the side. Not sure if I was still doing that while doing the cape animation. I was originally going to use one of Ace Attorney's cinematics as a reference but I decided to test around until I got a satisfying outcome.

Thanks! Honestly, I wouldn't know any other way of animating. Programs with animations backed in seem a bit daunting to me, and other editing softwares are too complex when all I want to do is just... be able to make this drawing stay for X seconds. Movie Maker makes it so that all the pictures have the same "size" so moving them around is easier compared to other softwares where it's dependent on how long they last. I can't imagine animating on, say, my other editing software VideoProc Vlogger, and having to zoom in to move the pictures around, that would just be hell. The worst part is that... that's what some animators do! If you want an example of what I'm talking about, look up "Animating With Shilach 1" at the 5 minutes mark. Granted, I'm sure you can simply set a number of seconds with a software like that, but even then that still makes moving tiny pictures around a bit complicated. Compare that to someone who uses the exact same two softwares that I do (look up "ANIMATING [Blood Brothers]") and has the same process except that she saves directly after completing her drawings (I prefer having all the drawings for a scene before doing that). There are some drawbacks to using Movie Maker-like having to resave the drawings if I make mistakes-but fortunately Movie Maker makes that process more time-consuming than actively tedious.

Thanks! Somehow, looking at a photo of a Pearl cosplayer inspired me to add crescent moon shapes to the hair. Also, someone on the subreddit once talked about how the Lifers who have a tendency to betray their teams tended to be the ones who distrusted them the most (perhaps due to something like psychological projection?), and I found that interesting-that, with Mumbo usually leaving his team once he's Red, even in the season where Reds could still ally with Greens and Yellows.
