A great power ballad Janet has a powerful beautiful voice that touches everyone's heart a great suspenseful video a great underrated song Vixen should be in the rock n roll Hall of Fame. Jan is one of the greatest woman guitar player in hard rock music a great guitar solo Roxy is the best woman drummer in hard rock music. I love you Jan RIP 😎🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸🎸🌹🌹❤️❤️🙏🏋️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🎸🎸🌹
I just discovered this song today. I do not know this band but I love rock ballads especially when the vocalist is a female, and I love this one. Can someone please tell me more about their other songs?
Well with Janet no longer in the band and COMMENTS off on the official site then just an update that the VIXEN - LOVE IS A KILLER KISS comic book video will be completed soon with a time line from their launch to a candle lit séance with the dead guitarist giving art direction on how to finish the video which then unfolds back into a movie... LET'S ROCK
Now, this might be the Mandela effect or there might be another version of this video. Also keep in mind, I was 13 when this song came out so I may be misremembering the details. But I thought that the woman got her revenge by coming back and strangling the guy during what I guess was supposed to be autoerotic asphyxiation or that scene was meant to be an early example of previous foreplay between them. (At 13, naive me I just thought that she was strangling him out of revenge for hunting her down). I don't remember the bit with the chauffeur shooting him with the arrow. Am I getting my metal videos confused?
This is officially the 1st song & thus time I've heard of Vixen's. 1st I just have to say that's one of the most Bad Ass Band Names ever!!! Definitely up there with Megadeth,5 Finger Deathpunch,Slayer,Avenged Sevenfold & Trust Company!! With that last 1 I suppose I could be letting some of yins in on a lesser known goodie.😃 Definitely will be checking out more from this band. Picked up her name from the comments. Janet's voice is quite frankly ridiculous. Just with this 1 song I can tell that she can run the whole gambit of ranges & feels. Then I realized that there all Women!!! Like,🙊🙈..,🙊🙈..,🙊🙉..,💩's🔥🔥🔥 No wonder I've never heard of them. Must've made sooo many 80's men salty knowing that these 'Broads' are way better than them!!!😅😂🤣 🤘😎✌,🖖
@Conway Twitter Same thing with Loverboy. Sadly many Americans still have no idea who they are. Personally I believe the US stations,or perhaps the Labels they've cozied themselves up in bed with, were afraid of them. Keeping in mind that the 'British Invasion' would've still been going on. This is why Radio Stations started heavily looping the same set of American songs. Trying to hide the fact that the British Bands had dominated the US markets for quite some time. So it's as if at some point they all decided to try and change that by simply ignoring requests & playing American Bands more than not! Then in comes this Canadian Powerhouse like the Flash. For those that've never heard them before,I'll put it to you this way. *If Journey Would've been a Canadian band, their name would've been Loverboy!!!* While I ultimately can't pick one, sometimes I think Loverboy is better than Journey to be honest. Probably my favorite LB Song is "Don't Keep Me In The Dark" 👇 ruclips.net/video/l1qXlKODUBo/видео.html Although their most popular in Us is definitely "Turn Me Loose" 👇 ruclips.net/video/QAyWWpVDtx0/видео.html
I am so feeling these lyrics right now. This beautiful song is so poignant and painful if you can relate to it, but also cathartic. I love the power of Jan Gardner's vocals and how strong the band's image is. I just love the concept of an all female rock band. Their feminism is fierce and inspiring.
I am
I can actually envision Yannis of Beast in Black doing a great cover of this song.
Okay, I've been watching Jem and The Holograms and working on some fanfics in that universe, but does Vixen remind anyone else of The Misfits? 😉😎
Bring back Janet Gardner! :'(

How are these women not in the Rock Hall of Fame? One of the first all female bands, if not the first, and six #1 videos on MTV. Wow.
This is amazing song beacause Janet is the best singer😊🤘
I started to love this song as a tenager at high school😅
Somebody please make a karaoke file

Great song indeed One of my favourites
Well done Roxy! You wrote a nice power ballade!
Billions of love..💖
I wish RUclips wouldn't have taken out some of the video. I get angry about that.

Have you heard Janet singing in her current band yet with her husband?
