This movie has always been one of my favourites, and Inigo one of my favourite characters. My brothers, sister, and I, lost our Dad a few days ago to cancer. As his condition started to worsen, this scene, and Mandy's personal story behind it, kept playing over and over in my mind. For everyone who has lost their Dad. "I want my father back, you son of a bitch!"

Beautiful story!!! I would feel the EXACT same way if someone I truly loved like a parent, family member, etc. I’d want to kill whomever or whatever caused it!

I think why Inigo's revenge felt so cathartic is because he never sacrificed himself or the people around him to achieve it. The grief he felt was valid, his father deserved justice, the Six Fingered Man deserved to die, but Inigo never once let his quest for vengeance change who he truly was. He was still polite, honorable, and loyal. And that's why this scene never fails to make me feel empowered

It shouldn't be said that props goes to Mandy Patinkin to venting his frustration on the cancer that took his father... but to Christopher Guest for making that battle with cancer a finality. Sometimes it helps to exorcise your demons.

My cousin's husband went in the pocket wilderness and was found dead at bottom of a ledge. I believe something got after him and he fell. There are stories there that are scary. He was in his 40s and was an avid hiker.

Best revenge sequence ever! This movie has so much heart.

Saw this movie in a theatre with a huge crowd of fans for a midnight movie. We knew ALL the words. You could hear a pin drop during this moment and when he killed the six-fingered man, we cheered louder than when the portals opened in Endgame.

Here’s how it works for anybody mad about him saying they’re covers. So first off they’re not covers because he wrote them so they’re his songs as well as tdg’s. Adam has rights to them just as tdg does. That’s the reason he can play them live with no consequences.

I was at this show when they were opening for Iron Maiden. They're now my favorite band ever.

First, there's no AB in this video. Second, Adam Gontier owns the rights to those songs, so they are not covers. Same as when Scott Stapp sings Creed songs when he tours solo. He and Mark co-own those rights.
