yo-yo yeah i used to ride 9 and 7 but recently moved to 8 and 10 really loving the 8 and 10, best thing is to have a go on some kites at demo days or try friends kit

the first step would be to learn late back rolls without a kite loop and then learn a kiteloop backroll comfortably, will try and make a vid on it

I moved from the dice to the 2022 orbit, I have not tried both so im not 100 percent sure. but I've been told that 2020- 2021 orbit was a huge change for the better and the 2021-2022 orbit is shuttle changes and refinements. id go to demo days and see what you think yourself :)

I chose the 12 reach as its an allrounder "the desert island kite" of choice. I can do it all. from impressive hang time to unhooking and even strapless. It is also a 3 strut kite so its lighter and will perform better in lower winds like the 10-15 knot range for foiling. But the new orbit is a lot lighter giving it better low end abilities than the previous models. if you want a kite for insane hang time and height in around 17-25 knots consider the orbit id say there's no right or wrong answer its personal preference, id suggest going to some demos and trying both kites

@@IsaacOnTour can you clip in suicide like on the click bar without leash dangling around chicken loop? The loop doesn't look very big to clip onto and click through chicken loop at side Being a dice rider, i like the settings. If i swapped to orbit... could i still use surfboard, turn hard into waves etc. when playing and get that carve feel? Does the orbit still feel fast and playful like a dice/evo mix rather than a rebel laboured completely different flying feel?

@@ianbisson9669 the semi suacide metal plate comes with the larger loop sizes for the guys unhooking. I haven't found any problems with it dangling in the loop. The orbit moves like the dice/evo but jumps and has the power of a reble. However it is a kite designed for big air. If your looking to ride surfboard regularly I'd go for the reach which is the all rounder. Or the carve if your riding surfboard 90% of the time . I went for the 12 reach for this reason, in the ligher winds I'm not going to be looping but looking to try freestyle and surfboards. But don't worry it still has plenty of loft and height in the jumps

@@IsaacOnTour I only ride 7 and 9 as after this I wing and kitefoil now. Does the orbit feel like a 'sent' jump from dice in harding setting/c kite days or more a pull bar in and you go up, no timing needed. I'm not a huge fan of the rebel tbh

@@ianbisson9669 I'd say it's a blend of the two, the best thing to do would be to try and demo the orbit and the reach. And choose which one your prefer
