Awesome video. Thank You.
It's a very early Sikorsky model. Maybe the first one used by USA military.
Also known as the KC-30A MRTT
I think I flew on that one I made a vid about it, it’s on pineapple aviation
😢
Now that was a greaser if I ever saw one. Nice job.
Cobra.
Oops fixed.
Nice I was just in Darwin but didn't get to see the museum
How do you get your own mirage fighter? Buy a block of land and wait
Bye Bye Rex jets.
Yo that’s the same one from my town it’s probably returning I know because of the same cereal number Emerald Queenland airport

Sure looks rough but my God the history..
It's so cool , but lord it's in bad shape. I wonder if it's going to be restored?
A beercraft
Was wondering what you were saying till I saw the typo. I'm blaming that on auto correct :-)
That looks like dark chocolate
6+3=9
Full on coke for our politicians
I worked there , in 1987 for a brief time , before been discharged .. I was a chef corporal .. and also worked at the Seargents mess . Before all that in about 1960 I started school at Duntroon Primary School from Kindy to grade 3 , my father was a telecommunications technician on the base .. and we lived in a married quarters there . He also was a French horn player in the RAAF band Albert Keegan , my name is Kim . Just some old info ..followed my father's footsteps , I suppose .
First got there in 89. My future wife walked in there one day. I watched her at the time. Might have had something to do with a hair dye incident gone wrong. Will be married 34 years this November. Must have been some impression.
Is that the F111 up at the Air Museum on the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia.
No, the one in Darwin
@glennalderton Cheers mate.
This looks like Canberra Airport
That it is.
Interesting.
Never to be seen again
Yes, very sad
Canberra is good for watching take offs and landings, but so few planes per day.
Someone did that one engine but not the rest.
Cairns Esplanade
I recorded a delta 717 in Oklahoma City this afternoon and it was louder than balls.
World's best title
Canberra Airport?
Sure is.
🤩 🛫 🤯
Great job 👏 😊
That's a nice spot close to the taxiway. Good video. 👍
One of my favourites.
Hi Willy, very short, nice movie, cheers Fabrizio - like 1
Big thanks
@@glennalderton
Where does this Museum Is ?
RAF Hendon Museum in London
@@glennalderton thanks you, i saw One old hangar/Museum in Malta, there you can really breathe the sense of patriotism trough the ald Planes and parts of engines or wings. Still in the dust mixed with engines oil. Vera impressive.
That is a 737-800, not a MAX
Look like MAX to me. What is the undistinguishing reason it's not.
@@glennalderton small engines with no shark tooth pattern on the back of the nacelle, among other things.
Thanks. I'll look past the winglets next time :-)
@@glennalderton no worries 👍
Kрасиьо Is this Russian?
Yes - Да.
😀
Красиво!👍🏻👋
Great job 👏 🎉
🤘 Promo-SM
My dad works at that place he’s work has some Falcon 7x’s and bbj’s and some other planes
That’s the exact flight I’m going on in November!
If you're flying economy, they don't feed you unless you buy their overpriced junk masquerading as a meal. I was disappointed that I had not picked up on that before we left. First International flight that didn't provide meals for me. I know it happens but previous flight with Virgin international fed us.
Sin comentarios.Las. Imagenes dicen más que las palabras.
Canberra to brisbane
Love that A220
Hey there, is it ok if I use this for a video? Nice taxi.
Sure, OK by me :-)
@@glennalderton Thanks
Nice
Should be restored as originally planned
This is a dreadful example of a recovery before a restoration plan was agreed and funded. First discovered totally intact in Norway and recovered by volunteers led by Tony Speight with help from RAF divers and Norwegians. After recovery ,intact ,a massive amount of damage was caused when another military service prepared the airframe incorrectly for transport to the UK.
The wing broke on the first attempt to raise it, it then sank and a second attempt to raise it was successful. It was the RAF who dismantled it and loaded it for transport back to the UK. The upper gun turret was being used by a local farmer as a way to feed his animals and he also had the rear wheel being used on his property as a boundary marker of some sort. Given it was 1973 and the use of modern cranes and lifting equipment wasn't available they did a good job at recovery and preserving it in its current condition, parts were restored like one of the engines and one of the guns was rebuilt
The propellers barley look like they’re moving! Nice catch, I’ve always wanted to see a Saab 340
