Fun fact: If there was a meet, the Slayer wouldnt even care about Vergil and his demonic nature. Аfter the events that preceded the 4th part (DOOM 2016) it was already eons since he started his "crusade", he already walk through many losses, madness, his home dimension was devoured by Hell (Sorry, B.J., all was in vain), he's newfound comrades was betrayed and slaughtered. He is literally last living being of his universe. Those people that we can see in D.E. -- they not HIS humanity. As the Night Sentinels, they are the same - nothing more than just food, created by Maykrs for Hell's miasm. And when he finally awake in D2016, there was only one real thing -- vengeance. This is literally all he lives for. (200% motivation) IMHO this song also great fit's to the Slayer. No past, no future, no home, no kind. His light was already buried. So, the Slayer just not interested in possible fight with Vergil. As long as Vergil don't gets in his way, but i also dont think he need it.

I always thought the guitar intro sounded like Doom to begin with. Doing the whole song in the Doom style honestly makes it sound like a Killer Instinct remix. Like this would be Vergil’s theme in that game.
