As Asian we grow up eating those I'm 76yrs old now still eating those and other varieties of sweet potato or yams is abundance in our country. The leaves we cooked it or make a salad is delicious and nutritious.

I planted one (Stokes) spud 2 years ago. First year I got 10 gallons (the 5 gallon vines invaded the neighboring bag). A couple sprouts survived the winter so I planted them in Florida in late Feb in a 20 gallon bag. They eventually spread to twenty 20 gallon bags, which was 30 feet long and 3 feet wide. The leaves overflowed the 2 foot high wall. The flowers are so beautiful. The leaves and flowers are edible. As the vines spread, just bury them and they will grow fruit underground.

@@ejchakaodza They are still growing this season. When you see the flowers you can dig around for some fruit. They have these bags with a window on the side and fold up cover flap though I haven't used those.

@@ejchakaodza If you boil them you are left with deep purple colored water that I sweeten with Stevia and serve as a cold tea.

Most probably sterile, just like how bananas and seedless watermelon are.
@@paulzaim7900 stating that seedless watermelons don't have seeds doesnt answer the question of How they got like that. In this video they grafted a variety of cucumbers. The impression is given that grafting causes them to not produce seeds. My question "How" has not been answered.
