Ive never been so excited about an autocross season coming up. So many fast guys in the class and everyone has been upgrading their car.

He's a little green but hopefully he'll come out to more events to get the hang of it. Thanks dude I got a bit more content on the way with the celica soon!!

Next season I'm gunna have to get somebody to get outside footage for me to get some crowd reactions 😂

It was a little sketchy the rave for sure bur it made it more interesting at the end. I've re watched the dive at the end too many times.

Its really weird watching over all the footage of the season and seeing all the mistakes i made in each run, my new go pro let's let me watch back footage so hopefully it'll help for next season.

Honestly the karts here are great to learn on, the place I'd awesome too hope you can make it out next year!

I have thought about getting a go kart but financially it would be a terrible decision since I’m also trying to build a proper time attack car on the side but I would absolutely be lying if I said it hasn’t crossed my mind. I live in Vaughan it takes me around 45-50 min to get to GoodWood.

@@lucusc4002 it may be a terrible financial decision, but what beats racing a 200 pound piece of metal at 100km/h 😂

Hey I plan on getting everything started end of July, started a new job so free time and been slim picking 😅

I started attacking that corner a lot more like that this season and I’ve seen a big jump in improvement. But with that being said I’ll 100% try to turn in earlier. Seasons goin pretty well so far excited to share all the races.

I signed up for saturdays hoping to stick to that schedule all season as best as I can, how bout you?

So generally you get 2-3 practice sessions which are about let’s say 4-5 laps at around 38-45 seconds a lap depending on your skill level. All depends on how many people are there that day, the less people the faster the groups rotate the more sessions you can get. Groups are determined by the weight you register as, then on day of event they put everyone in order from lightest to heaviest and section off every ~8 people in groups.

Record wise I’m not really sure but the quick guys run low 38s high 37s in the dry.

yeah it really depends on the day and the type of kart you get. Also in 2020 the karts were much newer so you could get crazy lap times even in the 35's! im pretty sure on their Instagram there is a 35 lap somewhere. Me personally the fastest I have ever got was in 2020 when I got a 36.1 in perfect conditions, then next year I was barely breaking into the 38's. So we will have to see for this year good luck everyone!

@@JMKGarage honestly because of the autocross feel of the course tires are crucial and I’ve noticed patience is very key on this track

@@lucusc4002 definitely… there are a couple turns that are quite sharp, similar to autocross

Hey thanks a lot dude I really can feel an improvement in the Katy. I’ve gotten a ton of mixed advice between drifting full on to slightly kicking the back out to not drifting at all. I made a ton of time sliding slightly but I think I’m going to take your advice and try not to slide as much!

@@lucusc4002 yeah, it really does confuse me, but every professional and from personal experience tells me don't drift and gain time. But then some people who look like they've been doing it a while say to drift around like Mario kart. But, I personally do think smooth and no drifting helps your time

Turn 4 really depends on weight, me being on the lighter side I need to but I’ve been told if your on the heavier side you dnt need to. And I’m happy I could possibly help
