Using a blow torch helps soften up the vinyl so it’s pliable. Set it into the Power Hold double face tape. Good to go.

..Dangerous.....Back leg on an old piano....slightly thicker carpet ....or a restriction in the castor...need to supprt each leg when moving an old grand like this...3 people....
Why they make small steel wheel
as a piano technician I have supervised many moves. This technique WORKS! It uses the human body in the ways we are strongest. Note the arch where the guys went under the piano and then arched their backs -- THAT is what lifted the piano up. I do this in my shop & I am under 5' 4" and over 50 years old. ---that being said: as a tuner I wish the piano owner didn't want the piano placed so close to a radiator. It will be hard to keep the piano in tune, in that location.
If the back leg broke or came off you two would be in the hospital.

Strangest thing I've ever seen! If you two are strong enough to support piano with your backs and arms, then you should simply use your legs while lifting some weight off piano (from standing position) and move piano across room... like most people do.
nice guy not many people would do that they would freak out i would do it have a friend who has experienced mice in house during cold weather little mouse with derby and scarf like sniffles wanting to get out of cold weather mice don't freak me out worked at restaurant where chef was FREAKED OUT by mice say "mouse" and he is sticking his pants into socks so rodent does not climb up leg and give him incisor job...then he jumps up on counter...a sight to see
