This was cool. Very informative. Enjoy watching your video 💜💛💜
Aw thank you!
how did you get the center out and the slats. THe one that i want to restore the slats dont come out when you put the desk part down
If you look at the back of the piece, there are screws holding the Caddy section in place. I unscrewed those, and there was also screws from the inside going toward the top.
Nice work. Is there a tangible difference between The camera Raw method and Lightroom or is it just personal preference? Also do you need to convert your image to a smart object first before using the cam raw filter. Thank you for this video.
No need to convert to a smart object. You can absolutely use light room. This is more just a matter of preference since I teach a Photoshop class in the ultimate goal is certification in that program. I try to do more of a deep dive in the one program rather than spreading out to others.
In Lightroom and Camera Raw it is literally a one click fix. I use it constantly.
Light room is also a great option
This was so helpful! Thank you for all the tips and going over your process with such detail!
I’m so glad you found it. Helpful! Keep me posted if you do a project like this.😁
*THANK YOU*
So adorable ❤
She certainly thinks so 😂
A VERY interesting character. I would have loved to see how his work evolved had he lived longer 💔
We were studying him in my art class recently ❤
So fascinating, I really want to start this as a new hobby ❤
Go for it! It takes some practice but the hardest part is centering the clay. Make sure you have access to a place that would fire your pieces before you make the investment. The air dry clay is garbage.
@amyinafix a kiln is very expensive 😆 🤣 I'm going to make my own with bricks and charcoal till I get better and buy one. Unless you know of a decent one? Or another doable option? I saw videos saying you don't nesserilay need a kiln?
You can wood fire ceramics but temperature monitoring makes it very complicated and anyone that I’ve known to fire that way has had an advanced degree in ceramics. My recommendation would be to take a class at your local community college or arts center in continuing education. That will allow you to test things out for a relatively small materials fee without you committing before you even know if you like it. I’ve seen many a student start out very excited about ceramics and find that it doesn’t suit them for some reason or another. There are also hazards that can be greatly diminished by taking a class. Ceramics that haven’t dried properly or have air pockets can literally explode and none of that touches on glazing which is required to make a piece water tight. Trying to dissect all of that on your own can be overwhelming but I think you’ll find a weekly class will inspire you and motivate you to get out of the house and try something new! Keep me posted if you do!
❤ bravo! Top notch instruction. Multiple examples and fast pacing.
Thanks!
I love this. ☺️🫶

Cool love it.❤❤❤
Thanks!
I like it👍
Thanks!
I’m thinking you can use this technique for collage work, too.
You totally could! I have a portrait project with a collage base that I just need to edit and get posted.
@@amyinafix That’ll be lovely 😊
I am just getting started in water colour, be great trying these techniques, thanks, an subbed. 😊
Wonderful! The salt technique is my favorite. It looks fantastic when making watercolor mountains!
Very creative!
Thank you! 😊
The contrasting wood and painted panels works really well! Much nicer than if it was just one colour all over.
I liked the way it highlights some of the amazing detail in the woodwork.
This is a really useful, clear, concise video! I was surprised to see the low number of views/subscribers, hopefully your channel grows! :)
Thanks so much!
This is great!
