entrapment is the most important talent in surv tree and u skipped it. the proc chance is ridicilous and u can take down really hard quests by just kiting em in frost trap. also helps alot in dungs preventing mobs from fleeing cuz the chance of snare for 5 sec is pretty hugh

There's no dilemma. These are two completely different games, the antithesis of one another. That being said, retail is absolute dogshit trash, and so is anyone supporting it and its ridiculously stupid and unfun game design decisions.

i be real with you cc is getting a bit unbearable right now with botlane being filled with mages instead of adc and support, lets not forget about the removal of tenacity rune and uping the price for merc boots making it a safe pick for them. And all those item nerfs that makes the game feel longer and more reliant on your team instead of being fed early and snowballing to carrying them instead. I hate always getting placed lower then normal, it makes it not fun anymore, this is the second season now where i end in low emerald just to start over again in high silver or low gold in the next split. It really is frustrating sometimes. when lol was yearly based i only got 1 rank lower just wtf is going on i mostly play toplane and i hate the restrictions i have in my lane for doing well early. Top is already a island but that can carry when it is fed. Getting first blood will get rewarded with a tower you can barely do dmg until the 5 minute hits. And when your botlane sucks you can only pray they dont feed to much for you maybe to help them out with a tp at 10 minutes. Or just go full tower crazy the only way i mostly win games is by totally ignore my team and full on split until they all focus me, so my team can do objectives like drake or push

Its frustrating, a few months ago i finally hit plat for the first time right before the end of the split and getting there was one hell of a grind. The split being close to over i was Plat for a grand total of 1 Day before getting put back into gold 3. Made me stop playing ranked

Went 2 out of 5 and got dumped in silver II from plat x) Ahh well at least I'm playing against people who have no clue what to do when I freeze the wave on them

I used to consistently reach high gold on average, but this split I won 5 first games, and ended up in silver. First of all, how? Second of all, the games are so unplayable that I keep losing, because my team is completely clueless, and now I'm somehow hardstuck gold 4. And I still had to play quite a lot of games just to get out of silver.

i'm hard stuck silver before this split i was silver 2 with 68% wr in almost 50 games, in the new split i got silver 4 with 30% wr and why i got this? because i'm getting lvl 30 smurf losers who cant play in their own rank in almost every game, i dont know what to do!

I started playing league at the end of season 2, stopped playing for a couple of years, and came back this year. 3 seasons in 1 year is mind boggling. It makes no sense, and it was much better when the rank was one whole year.

As a player I bought both early on (well the Skull and Bones I think I bought it two or three times, and I got my money back when they cancelled and postponed it). I think we have to distinguish between "pirate" games and "boats and ships" games. The "pirate" ones are based more on the avatar, the boats more on the ships... and then we have to differentiate between PvE games, PvP games or games that contemplate both mechanics. And of course we have to differentiate an MMO from a single player. Because a Single Player can be as unbalanced as much as you want, while an MMO must try to maintain a certain balance. Black Flag is a single player and that's where the rest of the comparisons end for him, because he's never really faced having to have a fair balance for different players based on his choices. The game with the best MMO balance between "pirates" and "ships" as well as being PvP and PvE and limiting when one thing or another happens, is without a doubt the Pirates of the Burning Sea (PotBS). And that has not changed despite its age, although it has been greatly surpassed in the graphic section. Sea of Thieves (SoT) is more of a Pirate game and the balance between PvP and PvE leaves a lot to be desired. On the naval side, the game is really for different players to do different actions and carry out different functions within the same ship (in this it is a hyper-improved copy of Black Wake) but with less intensity. It is really the second game, where the players less want to leave the rest of the players alone so that they can enjoy the game in peace. Naval Action is infinitely more frustrating in this, obviously, and has people with less respect for other players. For a game where the main thing is the avatars of the players, the system of creating it, at least when it came out, was... disastrous, plus a matter of luck and patience until you came up with something that you considered acceptable to be your avatar. In Skull & Bones (S&B), the avatar is something circumstantial where you actually spend real money or the different in-game currencies. But except for some walks, it is not more important than being the representation of the player driving any ship, because S&B is really a game of boats, as Naval Action could be. When it comes to environmental physics, the SoT is better on land and underwater, but worse in the purely naval aspect. Where there is a marked difference, is that in the SoT sailing against the wind is more realistic, as well as sailing upwind. While in the S&B it is almost not punished to go against the wind, much less than it should be, but it may be an issue as long as there are relatively small ships and it may have much more relevance when over the years more important ships appear. In any case, it would always be easy that once players have already assumed the behavior and how sailing against the wind is slower, that could be tightened. As a measure to teach people who do not have much knowledge of the sea, it is a way to bring them in little by little without frustrating them too much. In the PvE vs PvP aspect, S&B is much better structured, players can be playing PvE, unless they voluntarily get into PvP missions or also voluntarily agree to carry the PvP flag. Looks millions of times better than in NA and also superior to SoT, although perhaps, again the best balance in this, is the one shown by the PotBS and has not been overcome. As for the future, the advantage of the SoT is that it is focused on avatars. But let's remember that it took a few years to really get started. The S&B, is much younger, but because of the years that have been spent in its creation taking different points of view, it has a multitude of ships to incorporate even ships of line (each size class could for example punish more headwind and upwind travel), it has external improvements that are still only seen in some enemies, it has the possibility of adding types of ammunition, because in fact, some enemies already use them, It has at least 2 or 3 NPC factions not included yet as well as one or two sections of map that sooner or later will be unlocked, plus others that can be included, all without spending excessive development time and therefore money. And with a little more money, you can easily expand the map (because the quality of the places is not so impressively high). Moreover, in a few years, in a content remodel, combat with avatars and missions with them (sabotage, or smuggling) could be incorporated both PvE and PvP, and even add a professional skill tree part of which improves capabilities on land, part of which does so for ships, although the sum of the modifiers is not greater than one or two pieces of furniture that can be put on the ship. I think the advantage of S&B is precisely that because of the tortuous steps they've taken defining the game, they have a lot of elements to be added almost without doing anything and many more with a little more work. As a player who mostly likes PvE but can sometimes get into PvP consciously without being at the expense of people who have fun only making life bitter for other players, and as a player who considers himself more of a shipwreck player and less of an avatar player, I find S&B much more fun, apart from that if you have time, you may have a longer future full of added content.

Here me out: I pmayed sof a hell a lot for years and played sab since release, honest review, sof is annoying in terms of cosmetics and sab is more of a ship sim buisness tycoon If skull and bones had land combat and more pirate style of approuch it would be an awsome game but it just lacks it for me Sea of thieves is definelty a pirate style of game but the way to spend coin is just cosmetics and that feels a bit boring to me Overall they both got good points and bad points, but this is just my opinion

even if i win in ranked ill take a 5-10 min break to watch youtube or do a chore and i always do better after than if i queue straight away from the mindset of last game even if it was good or bad

The only tip to climb while still having fun and play as you want to, is to do everything faster. Farm waves faster, rotate faster, go to a wave faster (when a play is over, just go somewhere else isntead of walking in circles). Even if you make a mistake, it doesn't matter all that much, because if you do things faster, your mistakes will not be as punished, and somtimes might even be a correct play.

One other big reasons why new players hate wow is the player base. U can't expect someone who's totally brand new to know how this sword deals 2% more damage could turn the tide and know the exact intricate layout of the dungeons.

I think survivalist gives you good tools for hardcore. It’s not going to be as fast at power leveling as BM, or have as high a dps for dungeons and raids as MM.. but when shit hits the fan, it’s probably safer in a lot of situations, especially solo

I have nothing against Teemo, but I can understand people being against Teemo top. They expect someone tanky to frontline for them, and if Teemo doesn't win top hard, then the rest of the match will be miserable. Teemo jungle and mid are significantly less contentious picks. Anyway, always take a close look at the team composition.

I probably wouldn't recommend someone to actually play like that, unless they know 100% what they're doing. We have enough Baus 0/15/2 playstyle enjoyers as it is. But if you had fun, and you did climb ranks after all then its all good. But, again, to everyone else watching this, maybe don't play like that in ranked unless you've tried it in pubs and you REALLY know what ur doing. The actually healthy lesson to take away from this vid is to play what you actually enjoy/wanted to try and get good at, instead of trying to conform to meta and build your mentality around WINNING, instead play to have fun, and you'll win in the long run. (And I'm not bashing on the video btw, its good, keep it up man.)

Play teemo mid, build ult cdr, bully lane opponent and call your jungler if you're vs'ing yasuo, go to drake or herald as soon as you have your ult and shroom the corners that enemies will be coming from, win every objective fight and win the game. Your only and main win condition is to shroom the objectives as much as you can since it will guarantee you get objectives since their team needs to either clear shrooms or fight you and lose and we all know there aren't enough sweepers for allat (this gives objectives + gold from kills). I reached gold elo from bronze and i could've gone for platinum if i liked the playstyle but it wasn't for me.
