Wild Boars Spotted. Stop motion Chase scene
Hey there, I watched your metal bending video from two years ago. I have a few questions about it because I'm making a project I don't know how to start. I'm going to make an iron man mask in my shop class. the one he makes in a cave. but I'm wondering if I should find a cylinder tank and use that, or could I use the technique you used to make bowls, to round out the forehead part. You were using pretty thin steel. would It work with thicker stuff? I hope you see this, please get back to me. Thanks.
@@justinthehuman5165 hi Justin. Tricky one. I’ve had a go at bashing a face in sheet metal it is challenging. Especially as you go thick as you would need to heat up metal an bash. But there’s a clever guy who’s mastered this art. They call it repousse I think. Basically it’s bashing out designs on metal mainly copper but this guy call Douglas prior I think it is. He’s done it on metal made some amazing things. Will try to find name. But try looking him up.
@@ollieholman696 wow, his work is amazing. thanks for your help. I'll look more into the repousse technique
Really wish you made more videos and I’d found you sooner. Amazing work.
Beautiful work young man! I’m 74 and a retired toolmaker. I started making metal art pieces years ago. I think I’ve made about everything possible out of horse shoes 😆. You’re lucky having access to that amount of shoes. I have to purchase and they get expensive. I couldn’t afford to build that big horse. Which BTW is simply awesome! I’ve graduated to making all sheet metal dogs, sea turtles with brass wire frame and acrylics. Here at Myrtle Beach sea turtles are a big seller. I made a 3 ft long hanging lamp. A ton of hours on that one. I’m also into steam punk lamps as well. Recently I did a foot long motorcycle with so much detail it was amazing. 60 hours on that one. Love to weld, braze and solder. Keep up the great work. 👍🏼👍🏼
You are a cuuuutie ❤❤❤
Wow!! You are so creative ! Wish i could borrow your brain for a couple months 😂😂❤
@@ZEUStheKingGermanShepherd aww thanks. I love your dog. Love German shepherds. I recently lost my best furry friend. She was a shepherd your videos make me smile. Thank you.

St Bernard dog
Hey brother , very cool what you doing .
Brilliant work Ollie you have a very creative mind I noticed and a good set up all the right ingredients to have a beautiful and enjoyable life Tet Reilly (O' Reilly's Ironwork)
you can start a fire on top of a log to burn a dish shape into the wood, just a few hot coals or anything that'll burn hot.
Brilliant mate Just looking at doing something with all my 🐎horseshoes
marvelous, cheers from the USA, Paul in Florida
Badass amazing craftsmanship!!!!! Thanks for sharing this with making this definitely have inspired me to go for it

thank you very much lovely hear
Enjoyed this Ollie. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work here. I love your organic way of working.
outstanding work
This is good looking
Makes a nice change getting an in depth view into what someones reasoning or thinking on how or what they make . Just looking through you main channel as well didn't realise it was you that did the horse head in car panels . Watched that being assemble on something can't remember what but really did come out great .
Do you think that kind of stump would be doable with a bigger steel sheet? Say a diameter of 74cm.
Cool! an overseas co-sculptor using similar media. I've taken inspiration from your work and hope to see more, plus inspiring me to do more sculpting. I love your use of car panels. I agree... whites, greys, blacks and not much for vibrant car colors to choose from. Thanks for sharing! Rusty Steve channel.
Awesome work bro. Thanks for sharing your process.
👍💜
Another excellent piece of art Ollie 👍👍 . Must have been a challenge getting the different colour car panels. Think you would have been spoiled for choice if this was done in the 60's. Cars were more colourful in those days. Well done mate .
Thank you it was indeed challenging. It’s a shame we’re not more bold with colour.
i dig this so much!! quite inspiring indeed. looking forward to more of your work.
Aww thanks great to hear it’s inspiring.
Oh wow , what an amazing video and the carse is spectacular. Stunning art work. You are so talented. Love the colour in your work x
Hope you all enjoy the video and looking forward to sharing more with you soon.
Looks great! I'm working on an alien currently. Similar construction method, framed it out with 3/8" rebar now filling out the space between with odds and ends. Keep the videos coming!
@@andylong2239 Great to hear. Hope the Alien making goes well.
Wow wow 😍🤩
Amazing your art of "deer"
I like all your work, especially the lighting sculptures. You should try turning your linear style sculptures into anamorphic sculptures, it looks pretty challenging.
So AMAZING!
Love your work, it’s amazing!
Aww thank you great to hear.

Mehaaaaa
so excellent, stunning. tremendous design skills, love this in everyway!******
Rodeo people here in Alberta, Canada (horse people) would drive a thousand miles just to stand beside this sculpture, you would make the cover of every rodeo poster in the province.
Magnificent.
thankyou great to hear
So beautiful.
thankyou very much
Wonderful.
thank you
Can’t you use a mig welder
Hi Ron Unfortunately I didn't have a Mig welder at the time and it's hard to mig rusty horseshoes so for convenience I chose to stig weld for now. I probably would in the future and clean the shoes prior to welding.
I kept my first sculpture also know think it looks horrible.
Brilliant!
