Ed Bazalgette was so crisp here - saw them at 229 and they always make me smile.

For some reason this. and "America" were not included on the US version of "New Clear Day". (Their non-LP debut "prisoners" was, however...)

Cannot believe saw gig on sat after seeing London earlier this year and have tickets for Nov still brill in concert had not seen since Guild Civic Hall 35yrs or so ago, bloody excellent still!!

Just let know back doing few gigs saw earlier this year first time 35yrs or so and again last night south east England played Bunkers 16th number on set list!! bloody brillant having wait see again till London 17th Nov Great Portland Street, have tickets already But unable go rest gigs no money and I'll health otherwise would but have say when been too see so far absolutely still brilliant!!'! The difference between The Vapors and other "one hit wonder" bands, is the vapors first album is fucking brilliant. There's not a bad track on it, and if anything, turning japanese fucked it up, because it became so popular. It would be thought of as a classic underground post punk album, not it's just "oh, that group that did turning japanese?" Shame really. Fantastic album. (their other mistake was releasing a mediocre second album... almost bad second album.
