And then, after 1 year, we can see the results in your channel which doesn't align with what the course promises. I noticed, you replied to others that you didn't implemented the learnings, which doesn't make sense because you were interested about it. It just means, either the course is bad, it was just a sponsored review in some way. Even if your claims are right, still it loses all its credibility. The situation is like this ---- you reviewed Mr. Warikoo's course, but your review needs to be reviewed by someone else for its authenticity.

Did you find any metric in the course which could have flagged issues like in polycab ?. Those who are very good will not market themselves. I see very frequently mails from SOIC for discounts. This itself says a lot of worth of SOIC knowledge effectiveness. I say the cost is very high and it should not be more then 4000. If he had written a book of those courses video it would not have been more then Rs 1500 with same knowledge

Notes: 1. Humans are procrastinators, so without deadlines it becomes difficult to keep on learning. As the very nature of human mind is anarchic. 2. Having a great mentor to learn from is like having NOS in car, you will learn a lot in very short time frame as compared to trying to figure it alone. 3. Maintain To-do list, for everyday. Do a reverse DCF on what you want to be in the future, and put the efforts according to that. 4. Challenge Yourself, example was creating a SOIC Crash Course. 5. Friction is one the very important mental models. Outsource the work or say No to it, if you don’t want to do it. 6. Concept of compounding, going to gym. 7. Model of DCP → Discipline, Consistency and Patience. 8. Pareto Principle → don’t try to go very deep. 80% of the info is more than enough. Try to be comfortable with incomplete info. 9. Don’t be a engineer in Investing. Taking out problems that happened 15 years back in a particular company is of no use, there is no award in doing that. We are not accountants, so don’t scrutinize every transaction and go that deep. Just look at the incremental direction of business and check the valuations and do Stage Analysis. Don’t over-complicate things. Keep it simple. 10. Don’t accumulate Bias. Don’t be so rigid that I will not analyze Contractors or such stuff. “Any year in which we did not kill our beloved ideas is a wasted year”. 11. In cases where overall meltdown happens, focus on pockets of strength. Increase your time horizon. 12. Advice for a 20 year old: Instead of trying to increase the rate of return, first focus on increasing your cash flows by focusing on your career. 13. If you are a working professional, focus on simple businesses. Ex: Amines, Cables & Wires, Retail, FMCG. You cannot study shrimp feed companies, because for that you will have to track what is happening in Indonesia, Vietnam, whether there is any disease that is getting spread and so on.
