I had a wonderful time railfanning Sri Lanka about 5 years ago. Thanks for bringing back the memories. I loved the diversity of the rolling stock and the rural stations.

When these cars get out here to the Puget Sound area the trains carrying them are protected from meets on curves along the Sound, even though most of the main is double track. The fuselage cars are switched out at Mukilteo, and the tall tuscan-colored cars are set out(they go to Boeing Everett up the 6.25 percent branch). The fuselage cars then head south to Interbay, where they stay until The Renton Rocket local takes them into the Boeing 737 plant at Renton. Very cool cars, and an interesting operation.
