    Nice catch! I saw these two units in Marshalltown last week.

      These units are owned by Progress Rail and are bound for Ferromex. I went over to Marshalltown to see what EMD had at their facility after I caught IAIS CBCR in Grinnell.

      Yeah. These two SD70ACU’s were sent east a few days ago. They are bound for Ferromex who picked up thirty of these units.

    Before anyone gets too excited about the trio of lights that appear to be hovering above the train in the first 30 seconds or so .... that is only an internal reflection of the train's headlights inside the camera's multiple lenses. Sometimes called a "lens flare". That's all it is. Calm down. There's a way of "proving" this, but it's very lengthy to explain in words.

    This train only carries the rail, it doesn't do any welding. That is done by hand.

    actually this is a unit coke train that comes out of Newport MN and goes to the CSXT at Chicago or maybe the NS. Neat vid. Thanks for sharing.
