I always owned a PS until one day i could not play with my friend because exclusivity and I hated i jump into Xbox the moment they start releasing game on PC because i want to play with much people as possible

Playstation just needs a launcher on PC.

Im happy that they shared there games. They are great games and if we want them to exist into the future then this should happen.. PlayStation needs to get on the same page.

So many people that think Steam Xbox is going to be a loophole to PS games like Sony is not going to make steam block them before the Xbox even releases and tbh they probably already have. Look at the MS edge browser that was able to run PS+ streaming during beta testing by insider programme gamers who have proved it worked really well what happened because it didn't work after it launched. Sony made MS block it, Sony only care about one thing bringing you into the fold they don't care if they could release SM or GOW and make generate 10 million sales they are not interested same with Nintendo they are never going to put their games on way more powerful hardware. Bro Phil was asked if Xbox is still going to have exclusives and his response was "we are not porting old games" 3 days later FH5 a 4 year old game that should've had follow up by now get announced for PS. Physical media is on the way out. I like the fact that I don't have to drive to a game store to buy a game. I can just go online and buy it.

What i never understand is why playstation players, have this assumption that xbox players dont buy games...i jumped into the xbox ecosystem at xmas 23, and have had gamepass ultimate ever since on my series s, and for as many games as i have played and completed on gamepass, i have also still bought some of those as they offered them in sales for gamepass subscribers for super cheap, on some of their sales, not to mention the almost 50 games i have in my digital library, because not every game on xbox is on gamepass, so i buy them!..robocop rogue city.. blasphemous 2...terminator resistance...the sinking city..(just to name a few) were not on gamepass, not to mention the 30 or more games in my wish list!! My back log is crazy!! I cant buy no more for the time being lol But xbox players dont buy games 🤔

I mean, if there's a game that it didn't release on one of these console, but released on a PC, I buy it and play it on PC, and vice versa. Though the only Playstation I own was PS1 and PS2, as for Nintendo, I only own NES and SNES. Sadly I didn't bought SEGA at that time, but my neighbour bought it, and we play together every Saturday! XD I also play some games on XBOX at my friend's house, and I love how XBOX have some games that aren't available on PC or Playstation, but I still play it and enoying it with my friend's.

With this new strategy that Microsoft/Xbox are doing, I can go from my main PC playing DOOM: The Dark Ages, to laying it bed and playing it on my Series X with the same save file, to switching off the console and grabbing my ROG Ally and picking up where I left off, to streaming the game on my phone and tablet, to doing so on my TV upstairs, to potentially even doing so on the Switch 2. This is an Xbox. I don’t own a PS5, as I see no reason to; most of Sony’s AAA games are on Steam and Epic. Regardless of where you play an Xbox-branded game, the company is making a profit, because you’re using the *services*. The locked in AMD box isn’t the end all be all, nor most important pillar of the video game experience anymore. Why do you think PlayStation are putting their games onto PC, and at a quicker rate now? Why do you think the likes of Apple and Samsung are trying to heavily push software and services, rather than *solely* trying to sell you their latest phones or tablets? Because the services are what matter the most these days. If Microsoft can get you to engage with their services in *any* way, which most of us are already doing via Game Pass… Then they’ve made a success. And, if their next Xbox device(s) have Steam on them, and you can access your entire Steam profile, the one that has PlayStation games on it, alongside Game Pass? Even better.

My only concern is that I join generations late, so I'm hoping the series consoles (specifically the X) will maintain their viability once the hybrid releases... If so, I'll have no other concerns soon 😁

Literally everyone is benefiting from this. Microsoft is going to make tonnes of money. Gamers on PlayStation and Nintendo will be happy. And Xbox/PC players will have noobs to destroy in multiplayer.

I think it's a genius move by Xbox, sure we'll still exclusives but they will probably be timed, honestly I think it's the best thing to do Xbox players still get games day and date, and reduced prices for games, playstation players will be paying full price even 6 months to a year down line, plus with AAA games now costing so much, something has to give and this is a way of making money back

I for one think the Xbox one had some great games: Ryse Son of Rome Sunset Overdrive Ori 1 and 2 Recore Gears of War 4 and 5 Quantum Break Killer Instinct Rare Replay Halo 5 Forza 7 Forza horizon 4 I enjoyed all of these myself. What MBG is forgetting is the reason why Xbox brought those studios was because they were sick of PlayStation moneyhatting games. Let's look at this generation for example PlayStation have lost a lot more than people seem to think, they have lost 3rd party exclusives from, Atlus, Koei Tecmo, Square Enix, Capcom, all big Japanese publishers. Also Reforge saying he won't play Avowed at 30 FPS hinting he will wait for the PS5 version, but I guarantee you he will be playing GTA6 at 30 FPS on the PS5 pro rather than wait for the PC version, what a clown.
