@@EverythingSpain Yeah, you're right, not many places left. I think when one have issues with his own country (being government, state of the country, policies, peers, etc.), certain things affect him more than they do to newcomers, as it's affecting the very own country/blood where you were born and raised. Some things will be "transparent" to a newcomer, as he does not have a memory of how they were before, or as he is used to that environment where he came from. It might be a stupid analogy, but it's like if you are married to someone and after so many years you can't stand her anymore (or vice-versa). Of course, a person marrying that other person might be the happiest one, and time will tell if those things that were a nuisance to the former husband, might not be an issue to the new one. Each person's sensitivity to a specific issue differs from another's. In my case, being originally from Spain, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to "divorce" my country as I saw how it's degraded from what it once was, and had to flee. In your case, maybe you'll have a very perfect and long "marriage" 😃.

I would live to live in the Spanish countryside. However, although still much cheaper than living in the UK, you still need an income to survive. So , either I win the lottery and move there straight away, ir wait till retirement age and enjoy my little pension there. I know I might be able to get a job in a Spanish city, but immigration from Morocco and south america are lowering the living standards in cities, as is happening in the UK. You can get a house with a couple of acres in the Spanish countryside for the price of a terrace house in Bradford.

( “Taking advantage of post-Brexit freedoms, the Government will remove unnecessary red tape and regulatory burdens, ensuring rules and regulation for British businesses is proportionate and takes into consideration wider impacts on consumers, innovation and competition - as well as direct costs.”)

What's happened to the beach bars

I know a while ago they didn't have beach bars on any of the beaches, something to do with licencing (maybe no backhanders were given) but some beaches have had them return others have not, would be good to hear from someone in the know as I myself am curious as to what has happened. Thanks for the input!

Spanish food is among the top five in the world. Diversity, freshness, and taste are key features of Spanish cuisine. Each province has its own specialties. 😋🤤You are not an expat, you are a third country inmigrant in the EU.

'Third country' is not the same as a 'Third world country'. The first group includes any non-EU country both 'developed' and 'developing' like Australia, the USA, Russia, the UK, etc. The second group includes any non-EU developing country, hence excluding non-EU developed countries. This group would include countries such as Pakistan, Morrocoy, Nicaragua, etc. Obviously the UK is a 'third country' from the EU viewpoint, not a third world country. I hope you understand the difference.

Hi, enjoyed the video. I've been living in Spain for past 40 years. The number one thing you have to remember is that you must integrate in your local community.....get to know people....contacts, recommendations etc. Go to the local night schools, dance classes, yoga, whatever, but make sure to get some Spanish friends. That's how business is done here - through contacts and recommendations - I know somebody who knows somebody who's looking for.....etc. I started a voluntary English language discussion group here in the library/cultural centre in a town near Madrid and I have 30 or so people coming in different groups. A great way to get to know everybody and become part of the community. In Spain you have to get out of your house and do things in the local community if you want to get on....

Exactly Spain is a brilliant country that's why I'm here after all, I'm glad you could see funny side of the video also, thank for the comment, I love Madrid and the cities in Spain cant be compared to the countryside I suppose this is the same all over the world, good luck with your English group!
