Long before Marvel got their celluloid act together, you Robert R. was launching his own MCU the el Mariachi Cinematic Universe with this comic short about a pair of siblings with super powers. An auteur at heart, RR even drew the animated opening credits himself.

Here's a quickie "music video" I made to accompany a brief raw track from one of the sporadic recording sessions I had with Daniel (and assorted guest musicians including Ethan Azarian, Pam Peltz and Jerm Pollet) between 1987 and 2012. I have been slowly working towards completing overdubs on the tracks where appropriate, with plans to eventually release them all on a four-disc vinyl set. Check...

It still takes a little while to get to the boys' entrance, but I get you there as quick as I can and from there on in it's Moe, Larry & Curly (and Ted!) all the way - with a bit of pre-code girls-in-the-shower titillation thrown in to boot! Oh, by the way, please pardon the sloppy editing of the opening credits ...

As the title implies, I'm taking the so-so feature films that co-starred the Stooges and cutting them down to make full-on funny two reel-length comedies out of them. (Yes, this runs a bit longer than a typical two-reeler but it's as deep as I could cut it while retaining all of the boys' bits and some semblance of a plot!)
