Ormiston Community Baptist Church also known as Ormiston Baptist Church or OCBC is a a warm, friendly multicultural community that incorporates peoples from New Zealand, Cambodia, China, Singapore, the Cook Islands, England, France, Denmark, Sri Lanka, India, and South Africa.
How does such diversity get forged into one spiritual family?
The novelist Michael Crichton once said, "If you don't know history, then you don't know anything. You are a leaf that doesn't know it is part of a tree."
The story that you and I are a part of is the story of what God has done in history through his Son - Jesus Christ - to make us right with God. It doesn't matter what your story is - the mistakes you've made, the people you've hurt or the trauma you've experienced - you can have a life-giving relationship with God through Jesus. We exist to share his story.
