The public perception and influence meter. 600,000 Russians in Ukraine. The logistics problem and influence meter of displaced people who move themselves with their own family cars can't really be considered a helpful mechanic in hindsight and retrospect reagardless of how excellent the good humanitarian intention tied into the wargame mechanic to estabilsh the truths. Displaced Ukrainians as displaced persons working in the underground resistance might be individual bravery but hardly influential compared to organised SBU and the normal military intelligence gathering and targeting and behind-the-lines commando missions secondary to that. with Displaced Persons negligible with vast bravery compared to Signals Intelligence, Satellites, etc The way in which this sliding game mechanic may have influenced the USA to restrain Ukraine in infrastructure attacks and done nothing to restrain Russia in levelling and burning out cities.

You fellas have no clue what you're talking about. As with everything brainwashed in the West, you're wrong about most assessments on Russia. You were wrong about the size of the Russian economy, you were wrong about industrial production capacity or surge capacity, manpower, training, skill, agriculture and so on and you still keep using Western benchmarks to judge the country. If you can admit they can make some of the most advanced nuclear submarines and AD missiles then you have to concede they are capable of producing the components they need albeit in a limited capacity for their hi tech ordinance! The Russians are capable of fabricating 14nm chips while the latest smartphones sport 4nm chips... which is not really _that_ bad when you consider it!! You seem to also think the Chinese are more advanced in Hypersonics but their HGVs can't hit a moving target 5 times out of 10! The Chinese literally needed Russian help to hit a moving target! The Russians are the unparalleled leaders in Hypersonic tech. In avionics, pls remember the Russians are capable of building their own jet engines 100% unlike the Chinese who still depend on Boeing & Airbus who in turn depend on Russia for their Titanium requirements!!?! The Russian Sukhoi Commercial jet is the only passenger jet with full composite wings! The Russians are very bad at selling themselves and this leads to all kinds of assumptions by clueless pencil pushers. You fellas really need to travel to Russia once in your lives and learn something. The Russians are not the Soviets. If something doesn't work they will apply pure economics to use what works rather than reinventing the wheel! This is something people they have made a career life of studying the western industrial complex simply cannot understand. You're still comparing their entry to Ukraine to every failed US operation in history! The Russians as far back as the first Gulf War wrote up reports on how unequal the war was & your comparisons make no sense bec Ukraine to Russia is closer than what Canada is to the US!!! So, their priorities and strategies are entirely different and it almost feels childish explaining this to you guys bec you clearly have no clue what you're talking about! The saving grace is that there are some intelligent general staff officers in the Pentagon who understand what Russia is doing and how far they can be provoked!

Although myths such as the 3 brothers Lech, Checz and Rus are lost in time the addition of the Horse riding traditions of the Mongols (who came from the east) seem to be integral in Cossack history and there doesn't seem to be a definitive story in ancient history so maybe it's a mystery forever lost in time... Putin is to blame for the modern conflict though and modern Ukraine and it's boundaries are really what is important in reality and it's obvious to me that this violation is inherently wrong in the modern world and has resulted in misery and death and seems to have spawned a modern Russian death cult

  • @Freebird-V2ry

It's helpful to remember that all Cossacks east of Zaporozhye even old formations such as Rostov and Don were not Ukrainian in modern terms even if lines were different and not as we understand them today... crucially I would ask were Cossack s in existence before Muscovy from which modern Russia spirals out from if the answer is yes then Cossacks are undoubtedly Ukrainian first and Russian second it's a pity that these two nations cannot enjoy shared identity as has been true in the past and the obvious reason why this true seems to be russian imperial designs especially from soviet times ... especially salient now

Let's go back into Chinese social credit I'm a firm believer that that rotation depth sits inside of her management of our cellular and our computers that there's so many boxes but if you open one a multiple directional comes out. And not long ago we had a fourth stage social conversations sitting in our politics I didn't listen to All of it but I found it really particular when I heard them talk to Singapore or tiktok I know a lot of times conversations don't always show up correctly and he kept saying no makes me wonder if they was asking him to be a part of the blame cycle

More layers of complexity of russian and Ukrainian history... most of extremely modern almost tit for tat... evidence presented seems to show far more systematic and propaganda driven government funded groups on the Russian side Which tracks with the Imperial designs of Putin's theifdom...it also seems obvious that Cossacks are Ukrainian rather than Russian which resonates with the Russ coming from those regions and also having a far older history.. Russian identity being in part stolen from and then reinvented by the Russians...it suggests a deep and historic search for identity and fundamental insecurity born of a rejection of Kiev and embracing the realitivly modern and imperialist Russian identity or lack there of.

First off, welcome to NATO! And given that one of your guest is a wargamer as well as the Krulak Center employs wargames as a tool (and being a long time wargamer myself, where my first wargame was Avalon Hill's D-Day back in the 60's) it might be interesting to wargame some amphibious scenarios where light infantry are landed via one of your small boats where you also incorporate some of the latest technologies to better facilitate that landing. So some of these new technologies might be e unicycles, and no not what one might think of a clown at the circus riding a old school unicycle but rather the new electric ones e.g. Goggle Top 5 Best Electric Unicycles 2024 | Best EUC 2024 These do not take up much space on the boat but can add a huge amount of mobility to the troops once the disembark from the boat, why walk when one can ride! And to carry more gear one might also have one or two e-bikes e.g. Google Ukraine Military Is Using Electric Bikes For Stealth And Hauling Anti-Tank Weapons or maybe even a cargo e-bike or two to carry even more gear such as automatic grenade launchers, mortars, and 50cal machine guns that might be too heavy to otherwise carry e.g. Google 7 Best Electric Cargo Bikes And one might look at employing a small EVTOL such as the Jetson One (which IIRC is a Swedish company at that). e.g. Google Jetson ONE - UP.Summit - First Flight in the United States The Jetson One does not have much payload but one might carry a person and the gear to control UAVs and then have that fly inland to provide one's own embedded UAV FAC. And while looking at flying one might also war game having one or two of these, jetpacks, which the UK Royal Marines seem to be taking an interest. e.g. Google SOFIC Tactical Demo Flights Maybe one could insert a sniper or such to interdict anyone attacking the landing force using these. So these might make for some interesting wargaming situations to explore!

Your political bias is understandable. Your superiors are pushing you to put a pro Ukrainian slant on the numbers and strategic point of view. The Ukrainians are finished! They have lost upwards of 500k troops. Ukraine has also been using old men and even some women with very little training. The whole anti Russian slant is a shame for the game because you guys are using flawed information that puts an unfair advantage to Ukraine. If The Ukrainians have lost 500k Troops and Russia 30k. How do you say Ukraine has any type of advantage? They don't. And never have. They are effectively in hostile country where the mostly Russian population hates them due to the atrocities they have been commiting.

A highly informative interview. As members of the United States military, we take an oath to, among other things, obey lawful orders. I feel the context of this interview delves deeply and highlights the need for our service men and women to be educated in that regard. Hindsight affords us the capability to understand what has formed our reality. But only to those who take the time to study the lessons history teaches. Hopefully, we can develop the foresight to progress a bright future for not just America, but for all of posterity. “Before you become too entranced with gorgeous gadgets and mesmerizing video displays, let me remind you that information is not knowledge, knowledge is not wisdom, and wisdom is not foresight. Each grows out of the other, and we need them all.” - Aurthur C. Clarke War can be a racket. America has become a hub of the military industrial complex. It will take time, determination, great restraint and wisdom to transform what is into what should be. May we remember the lessons of history and always allow ourselves adaptability... until there is no enemy, but peace.
