I'm sorry, another Hibbing story. They were talking about places they been to in the show and how they did'nt look like the real place. So, The Bender's take place in Hibbing. Out in the woods. I grew up 20 miles from Hibbing, but Hibbing was town. Went to school there, church, my friends are all there. Back in the 80s a guy from out where I lived kidnapped a couple from the highway on the way out to where I lived and kept them in his basement. When I saw this episode, before I knew who the real Benders were, I thought they had done research and found out what happened back then and made the episode. Dumb I know. Also, there is a store in Hibbing called Bender's Shoes. True story.

Timothee Chalamet already has a connection in a round about way to SPN. He is playing Bob Dylon in a movie and Bob Dylon is from Hibbing, MN which SPN went to several times.

And honestly, "We have lives" should come with a trigger warning. 😂 Yes, I know it was in reply to the question "Are they still friends?" - but that's exactly why it backfires. The whole PR campaign they're living, ultimately, violates what they are to each other, by making them seem less involved. It is pure pride - and no, I don't mean lgbt-pride, I mean Biblical sin. It also very much promotes some old Freudian BS about homosexuality being an immature stage of development - as if being with your partner was NOT "a life" (not a real one) and you needed to "grow out of" your childhood friendship (for those who already met in childhood). My Atlantean brothers... we've been down these roads before. Stahp. Look at history. The greatest men who ever lived had these relationships, it was their strength: mental, intellectual, but also physical, like Hercules - hint hint... (I noticed that while dancing with such a guy, too). So when I'm looking to "the relationahip" I am in no way denying the individual, I am simply foregoing my own (sinful) pride and choosing the heart instead.

"Life is messy" but see, that means a totally different thing when you have your soulmate by your side. It means you can be flexible, deal with ups and downs, better yourself, etc. By contrast if this piece of wisdom is misused to dismiss the importance of having that person... no, it becomes too painful for words. As in "Well life is messy, things change, we broke up, move forward and it will be great." Not in a billion years, mate. Because you need that person, to be able to see the path at all. Notice how Jensen clarifies it: "You're missing the obvious point"... as in don't be vague about this, say it's about the brothers not giving up on each other. ❤ They are amazing teachers. But if they ever tried to violate this importance they have in each other, the teaching would not be worth a penny.

I actually ended up telling everyone that they are very much still together. The reason was I had just found out about the different states thing, which left quite a bitter taste. But none of the other people in the thread understood this type of bond, which does not require constant physical proof, hence my answer. On the other hand, the "We have lives" thing and "it will always be there"... they should be very careful. This starts to sound like taking the soulmate for granted, and it can imbalance things. Also, the kids, raising them as one family... nuff said. I am hoping that day comes when the façade (the real one) starts to crack. If it hasn't already. "My buddy, my wife... my buddieeeesss?" 😅

They're absolutely delightful. I never realised how amazing they are as people, the seriousness and depth but also the humour and silliness. And it just keeps on giving. ❤ I think this was one of the vids I've laughed out loud all the way through, just a special energy and groundedness in it. And of course the lovely J2 moments getting so much live support, including from guys lately. I have to say however, though I understand questions are prepared in advance so one cannot know how it will land in the moment: sometimes it gets REALLY awkward with fans asking "Sooo, who is your person then?" and J2 trying to downplay the whole thing and awkwardly divert attention away, looking at their shoes. When just a moment before they've eased so much into it, and it ends back there anyway but in a roundabout fashion, "This guy certainly is part of THAT story, there are people you call (Ghostbusters!), and all of you, we learn from you, it's amazing stuff, HEYYYYY look at my shoe...."
