RIMMED MELT 'N POUR WITH EMBELLISHMENTS
Soap designing a rimmed Melt 'N Pour soap with embellishments. The use of a Pringle's Can is my favorite way to make a rim soap and since my family LOVES Pringles, it's a perfect match! Thank you so much for watching!
*** INGREDIENTS NEEDED ***
- Clean and dry Pringle's Can of a 3" diameter PVC pipe 9 inches tall
- 13-14 ounces Clear soap base
- 28 ounces of Shea Butter soap base

- Glycerin
- Mica
- Kaolin Clay (usage rate of 1 teaspoon per pound of soap base)

Additionally, if you want to make a full size Pringles can mold the rim will need 10-12 ounces of soap base. That is approximately 5.5 ounces of your first color and the 5.5 ounces of a second color. Also, adding an additional 1-2% of vegetable glycerin per pound of soap used will making the rim more pliable.     Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been having trouble with melt and pour…it hardens so quickly that I figured I couldn’t do anything fancy . You showed me that I can. I a new soaker and a little confused. Videos really help me. Thanks again

      My brother in law made it for me It breaks too many wires. I would have you look at esty for Bud's Workshop. He makes cutters for melt and poue.

      I had my brother in law make it for me. It will cut it but you have to go super slow, but I still break a lot of wires. Buddy's Workshop on Esty, I believe sells a cutter for MP

    The fragrance oil needs to be soap safe. It’s best to melt the bases via a double boiler method. It’s also best to use Stephenson Brand NS or LS (non sweat or low sweat) Soap base. How long have you been making soaps for.? Do you make anything else?

    How did you heat the soap bases? Also you don’t need glasses with MP Soap Base. You forgot to tell people that whatever utensils they use to make this or any soaps that they can’t ever use them in General Kitchen Preparation again.
