I'm not a black woman however, I AM a 36, almost 37 year old Mom of 2 who went from a corporate job to losing that job to finding any job to support my family and now I am unhappy to the point I'm in tears daily. I know I deserve much better and I am too smart to waste away at a job I feel worthless at. I want to go for an Office Manager position but I'm so nervous. I know I can do it- I have the skills and the knowledge and if a company would be willing to train me and give me the opportunity, despite me not having Office Manager experience or a degree of any kind, I know I could do it. So depressed over this all and I am nervous how my life will turn out if I don't find better... if I don't get my foot in the door somewhere who will give me the opportunity. There is no future or growth for me at this current company and I know I deserve better. My family deserves better and not to struggle. I deserve to be compensated for the hard work I do each day and I am unfortunately not being fairly compensated. Really hope I find the courage, strength and opportunity very soon. I know I can't do this much longer. I appreciate you sharing all of this! ❤
