Hi! please tell us how much gain has using the gain knob plus the windows settings? I’ve seen some reviews saying they have to crank all the way up the knob for the mic to pick the voice, is that true?

A mouse with easily replaceable click switches would be a forever mouse, throw in the titanium and carbon fiber you mentioned and you really have a mouse that no company will ever make because it has no planned obsolescence

I don't think so, Logitech. They make good hardware, I've always liked the way their devices feel. But they can't build software to save their lives. The "Logi Options +" software is a disgusting pit of bugs. It's horrible. I won't consider Logitech in the future for ANY hardware purchase until AFTER I thoroughly research the software/drivers behind that hardware. If it isn't bloat-free and lightweight I won't buy it. Did you know their MOUSE DRIVER software suite has an AI "prompt builder" ? WHO THE EFF WANTED THAT?!?!

When I play I put a lot of effort into my palm, like I play an aggressive claw grip where I pull my fingers into my palm. Boardzy who is a mouse reviewer mention that players who play like this/me will have a bad time cause the holes feels awkward and slippery with this grip style. Can you confirm this ?

I don't worry about my mouse NOW, and I only paid $35 for it. It works with no issues and has for years. How many people use touchpads and/or touchscreens and don't even use mice anymore? She needs to gtfoh with $200 plus a subscription.

Great video! Gosh the Shure MV7 is pretty brutal in comparison, the only microphone that I actively disliked the sound of in the video. I think considering the USB XLR combo function, there have been several mics that just couldn't get the USB function to sound good, but the k688 does sound good direct in which I think is the most import part. I love the RE20, it is also my favorite for a dynamic VO mic. For many years I would generally advise toto just go for a decent basic interface, and start with a known good dynamic, the SM57. A 57 into a scarlet can be tuned to sound almost identical to a SM7b, even easily tuned in OBS with some basic compression and EQ setup. For condenser mics the new Se electronics X1a sounds like the new king budget condenser at $100. But now good USB mics like the k688 for $50-75 are making that original opinion obsolete price wise for beginners, especially since it's all one unit, no need for users to get multiple devices and learn how to use it all. I like your idea of getting a cheaper interface for more realistic testing. I think it could be really cool to go a step further and test out how good a full budget setup can be when you dial it in with obs. For example, for a second setup I use the Behringer UM2 $60 interface, and the Behringer XM8500, which is a really decent $30 handheld dynamic. Those two alone you can dial in a great sound. For a bonus getting a Behringer or Klark Teknik inline preamp for $35 helps. Some of the free VST plugins work really well in OBS, my favorite is the ChannEV by Analog Obsession. It's an analog style Pre, De-esser, EQ, Comp, and Limiter strip all wrapped in one, it's really nice to use and can easily make those XM8500 mics sound really good.

Good review man, I respect the honesty in it, and a pretty thorough explanation of its features. I bought a ffine a60 (I think that’s the model) on Amazon and was extremely disappointed. Mic sounded like a shitty 2008 headset mic. Same sound quality that you’d get from hearing someone talking on a MW2 pregame lobby. The one you reviewed sounded a lot better. So maybe mine was defective

you gotta hold mouse 4 in addition to the left/right/middle click to change any options when turning on the mouse! tho I agree that the function key being assigned to page down without any way to change it is kinda annoying, I'd rather get the right and middle click combo that was on other Vaxee mice to check the battery

The SM7B has a 150 ohm impedance rating, and that is not high that is actually pretty common. Most professional level balanced dynamics range from 150 ohms to 600 ohm. Consumer grade unbalanced microphones will have a high impedance (>10,000 ohm).

why are you acting like this some new outrageous pricepoint? finalmouse started this almost half a decade ago with the starlights. zowie are releasing wireless mice at the same pricepoint, high-end chinese brands like g-wolves & wlmouse are at the same price. even logitech, your shining beacon of hope, released the superlight 2 about $10 cheaper than this. if you want value, just get an atk f1 ultimate. both logitech & razer have shown that prices will drop further into the lifespan of their mice (mostly through sales!). admittedly i dont really agree with you much in this video, but i appreciate you voicing your opinion! keep it up man!

I wanted better skates without having to swap them and these are amazing compared to gpx especially on an aqua control 2 sakura the v3 feels really smooth while the gpx feels kinda scratchy weird

3:14 I think that you're forgetting that the sl2 at launch was also released at 160 usd, the same price as the viper v3. I think the general idea for the price tag is for sales to come and for non-enthusiast consumers buying it then because of the thought of a sale.

Do you have some accessory on your final mouse? I feel like the portion that something plugs in, is extended in some way. Edit: I saw in another comment the link. I am now just wondering how it holds up, and if it seems safe in every way to the ulx. Also, did you pair it with any other cable, or just the cable it came with?

Not that I am defending final mouse or anything, but isn’t the build quality on it supposed to be flexible? It’s durable, but that’s doesn’t necessarily mean that it must be “rock-solid”.

I bought Pulsar mouses because my house is near the store so I can get replacement easy or I cannot recommend Pulsar mouses. The mouses themselves are good shapes, good performance, good coating but getting the click issue out of the box is kind of unacceptable. Especially I got the same issue with both my X2x2 and X2x2 mini, same exactly problem...

the real economical solution to the quiet of the sm7b is using JST gain reduction deluxe. It makes all mics louder and it also makes voices sound amazing.

I love the sm7b, but the competitors have done a great job of demystifying it. I used a presonus pd70 as my daily driver mic and it slays the sm7b

As a certified SM7B hater, I couldn't agree more. It's a gimmicky mic that's frankly wasted on most vocals. Most people should just get an SM57 with a pop filter and be happy. Just came across your channel, and I enjoy your delivery. The only thing I'd say needs improvement is your distance from the mic/mic positioning... the plosives are very noticable at points and clip the signal (especially on the Lewitt) and youre generally a bit too close to the condenser mic imo. Concise script, clean visuals. Getting crinacle/DMS vibes (;

Bought the SM7B back in 2009 before streaming was even a thing and used it for my vocals on my music, mostly metal/heavy rock, which it is perfect for. It's also fantastic as an instrument mic. The mic is incredible and legendary for a reason. It's criminally underrated, really. It's a broadcast standard which is why so many people went towards it for podcasting etc. So is the application of it for streaming and podcasting overblown? Maybe, but that's not the mic being overrated, it's being underutilized for the best purposes that it is meant for.
