For anyone wondering re HIGGINS REFERENCES He was approached by someone he didnt know who appeared to be powerful and possibly organized crime in a foreign country and was asked about match fixing. He played along (whilst drinking) got the fuck out the country and tried to pretend t never happened and get on with his life. He was never paid or even arranged payment to match fix. He served a six months ban for not reporting an approach. Possibly because he felt abit embarrassed or couldnt be bothered with hassle. Poor judgement maybe corruption nope

All the anti referee comments here are just typical of the hateful aspect of our society. The referee was standing right beside him with a better view and audio than you lot watching on a short. He's has also studied what the rules say and how they are interpreted where I'll guarantee 99.999 % of you wouldn't even know where to find them. He's also refereed thousands of games day in and day out. Leave the hate somewhere else
