I recently bought a bottle of Aventus from EBay for £165, ($208), 2022 Batch with a black creed logo on the front, and a white ring on the inside the atomiser

All manufacturers have been changing their ingredients over the past few years. It's not just Creed. Really sucks. And I'm not a fan of the scent from Aventus, but I have it lol.

Maybe the left one is tester?
Testers are usually marked "not for sale" and still have white rings under the cap.
Forgot to mention the testers come in cardboard boxes.
I lost 20 dollars at the flea market. So fake the smell disappeared in 2 or 3 minutes at most. Then I also read people lost 300 from fake ones sold online at Nordstrom, according to the reviews. Then I bought the 3 small bottle Set at Macy's, and I could smell the scent myself for about 6 hours. When sprayed on something is thick like an oil.
I just received one, it looks real but the golden circles look more like the fake one. Also mine has no ring.. neither black or white. Everything else makes me think its real

Always buy from a reputable store like Harrods or Harvey Nichols etc & you won't have to worry about being scammed. Yes you'll have to pay full retail but if you want to cheap out on a 'luxury' fragrance then expect to be robbed..
Can you tell the difference in the smells?
Yes. Immediately. However, some of the new Fxxxxxx batch codes are so light it is closer to those. But yes if you are familiar with aventus you do not get that ambroxan aroma with the fake.

I have one Original but the batch code don't read, what can it be?
A lot of the batch codes are in ink and get rubbed off. The only way to know is to have the original box that will have the same batch code that was on the bottle.

@Motinhox yes, this fake in the video had matching batch codes and the batch code was a real batch code.

Is the fake just armaf in a Creed bottle?
No definately not armaf. Armaf is strong this stuff had a super light aroma. Not sure what they put in it.
Armaf CDNI intense has a better projection/longevity then the creed aventus

@ryanchugado4232 That is true but CDIM gave me a headache each time I would wear it. The special edition CDIM is a lot better.
@jacobtovar4953 ya that opening is like pine sol. Now if you get a chance to try the special edition CDIM the opening has improved tremendously.
thx bro. I got my creed aventus today. and your video helped me understand that I have the original. But the durability is very small, I have a 2022-2023 version with a transparent inscription on the bottle ("Creed" on the bottle)
I haven't gotten one of those new transparent letter ones yet. But I have some samples. What batch code did u get? I recommend trying to get an older batch even if it's 50% full. You will be blown away how much better the older batches are.
The biggest Downfall I think is with Aventus at least you can see your usage(clear bottle) Absolu who even knows if there’s 75 ml in that bottle It broke my heart breaking them seals on the Absolu,I find the Absolu is much milder than Aventus. Nice ornament the Absolu it looks Nice. Aventus all Day long.
I have the F001389 batch I got it weeks ago from someone who works for creed so it's definitely real! I also sampled the other batch in store & it's the same to me. So maybe you got a bad sample? Who knows

The ad on Creed website has an image of a citrus fruit with a batch number on it. It is 1318 .

1493.. And now I wonder if there is a difference in the batches for the Absolu versions like the OG. Gotta go to the store to see if I can find 1318. How would you describe the smell?
Thank you for your reply. Yes there is a noticeable difference. Especially the opening. 1389 has a rubbing alcohol opening then you get that dark warm amber spice very similar to dior sauvage elixir. 1318 has an Aventus opening with a warm twist of resin and amber. I even took the 1389 sample when in to the creed boutique and they were noticeably different. The dry down smells very similar but the 1389 has more longevity and is darker. The 1318 does not have as good longevity and has a more citrus aroma than the 1389.
So now we know of batches 1318, 1389, 1493. I wonder how many others there may be???

Thank you for your comment. I was wondering if that batch was from Europe that I got. The US creed website claimed to only have one production which I would interpret as a single batch. The sample I got smelled kinda of alcohol on the opening but dried down to something similar but a little stronger than my USA batch. If you got it from Creed UK then I have more questions then answers. Thank you again for your feedback.

I got my early sale bottle from creed online store in today. I had ordered a decent that has that 1389 batch code from ebay about a month ago and it absolutely smells nothing like the actual bottle does

It’s comical how they still gave you the same pamphlet. I’d imagine creed would amp it up to a full size paper for this dinosaur. Or maybe switch it to a scroll of some sort geez
After wearing it a couple weeks has your opinion changed at all?
Yes! I got the call from the creed boutique to put my card down and lock in the bottle. They had a bottle of Absolu behind the table. Upon smelling absolu in the creed boutique....it smelled so different than the sample I got. It smelled like Aventus with a warm dark twist. The bottle put out a huge spray from the atomizer and I felt the sample I got may not have been authentic. I asked about the batch code and the batch code from the one online vs the batch code from the instore sample was different and there is only suppose to be one batch for the absolu. I ended up reserving 3 bottles. So yes I changed my mind about it. It will drop Novemeber 1st. Mark your calendar. I went home with the aventus absolu sprayed from the creed store and the scent didn't last very long. So performance wasn't great but then again maybe I went nose blind to it. Then I resprayed my sample and it did smell similar but the sample I ordered lasted longer. The sample I got smelled like dior sauvage elixir.

Yes, definitely! Aventus cologne is superior to this. Aventus absolu is more resinous and Ambery while aventus cologne is more fresh, fruity and vibrant.
I own this & much prefer it to the cologne

Bro, it's a 34 oz bottle. LMAOOO A 3.3 oz bottle lasts about a year. This is not going anywhere anytime soon.
@ItsNeezy wrong dude, the guy on the vídeo is my dad, belive or not right after we finish recording he dropped the bottle... for a 2.000 dollar perfume the glass is really bad.
