That "Defenders" #3 is actually Marvel Feature #3 and is the 3rd overall official appearance of the Defenders and unfortunately that Captain Marvel is maybe a $20 book based on the condition I could see and what is shown. Nice little haul of some copper and bronze age filler issues.

That haul had a good mix of Silver, Bronze, and Modern comics. Good purchase for $50.00. Btw the way, I am not sure if that is the first appearance of Manhunter unless that’s a different Manhunter that was from the Golden Age. Both DC and Marvel in the 1970s were trying to revive older comic characters.
