12 Days of Fitmas - Cervical Cancer Screening
My swelling occurs after doing crunches every other day and sometimes after recumbent cycling. I only mention because I've yet to read or hear anyone mention exercise bringing this about.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and I know what you're all going through. I'm not bothered if anyone believes what I'm about to say here, and I could well be trolled or even censored, however I am going to dare to share my own experience. I offer the following advice for free to any hernia sufferers with an open mind, and a willingness to temporarily change their lifestyle until healed, for a gaurunteed recovery without surgery. This isn't a joke. Firstly, trust me when I say that all the advice you have been given here so far, whether dietary, physio or otherwise, from doctor or sufferer, is totally incorrect and will not work, because the problem is that toxins are trapped inside the intenstines, and in effect have destroyed the abdominal wall. These toxins must simply be removed to allow your body to heal from it the proper and natural way. This will work for sports hernias too, which arent even really hernias at all. I am almost completely cured now from a very severe inguinal hernia, right side, around the duodenum, where the large intestine meets the small intestine. It has been a horrific experience, and life threatening if I was to be overactive when it was at its worst. My method was a combination of 2 things; firstly realising that the human need for food is an illusion, in fact diet is the cause of all illnesses, especially with our lack of knowledge when it comes to fluid diet. Secondly, on the subject of fluids themselves, our bodies being 70-80% water, juicing and/or purified water is the ONLY way to cleanse the body from toxins (cue cognitive dissonance for most of you). Hence, my method, the only natural method, was doing long pure fluid fasts. My longest was a 35 day solid food fast - so no solid food for 35 days, whereby I drank between 4 and 8 litres a day of home juiced (masticating juicer) ginger root, melon, beetroot, turmeric and many other fruit juices for pleasure during fasts, however ginger and other root juices clearly seemed the most potent for cleansing the intenstines. This is quite notable when you begin detoxing, without being too graphic. There will be other detox symptoms too, and they are nothing unbearable compared to hernia symptoms themselves, but just trust that your body is simply dealing with the removal of toxins whenever you feel these symptoms flare up during juice/pure water fasts. Purified water as a staple is essential to top up the quantity to at least the 4 litre a day minimum requirement for this therapy. How you purify it is up to you. Before anyone asks, I do not wish to discuss any related water "conspiracies" here, nor about the science of it despite knowing it all only too well, as I'd like this comment to stay up if possible. This is just the way it is, and what I did to gradually beat it naturally. I am almost back to full strength now, no longer having to put my right leg "up" all the time to stop the intenstines jutting out the belly, or worse, down the inguinal canal, and all pain is gone, I just get a little pressure when running, and I am even eating more regularly again now, a big relief after all the fasts (it was probably 80 days fasting altogether but broken down into shorter fasts as symptoms finally began to ease). This was my story. It is the only natural way, and ANYONE can adapt to this lifestyle change for a while, if they are open minded enough and want to avoid the ghastly operation, an op which will only cause more problems later down the line, because as always allopathic methods target symptoms only, and never the cause. That's if you can even get whichever country you live in's health system to bother with you for doing an op. Here in the UK, they were close to useless, and at best outright negligent of the seriousness of mine. So I sought another way, with what I'd learned from my overall health journey over the last 6 years, and as always it never failed me. I wish you all the luck in whatever path you choose, and you can take or leave this advice based on your own preference, or cognitive dissonance. I wouldn't wish this ailment on anyone, and just felt like doing my bit to help others. All the best everyone.
I have one ,it is possible for me to play soccer ??
my hernia is only visible, when i lay down, relax and push my lowet stomach in. then i can see my left side going inside more than the right side (where the sports hernia probably is). does this mean its theoretically possible to heal it? i have had it for 4 years, only now i started to live on a heatlhy diet, low inflammation, collagen supplements, etc. when i do visit my hernia from time to time, its also seems the muscle is irritated, since it seems swolen the whole right side a bit. is this normal for hernia?
Thank you.
I just did a right repair. When I got the referral I mentioned that the left side felt strange, almost like ali had one there too but it wasn't quiet visible yet. When they did the surgery they said they checked the left side and made sure there wasn't one there. Now a couple weeks after surgery the left side is obvious.. contacting a lawyer this week to pursue for maltreatment charges because I know they were aware, they just didn't want to lose money in overlap from the insurance company
I’ve been having these symptoms like the constant bloating, vomiting sometimes can’t eat and even drink because I can’t always keep food down…. It’s now been about 2 months soon be over 😫 still waiting as only just got an ultrasound last week but results aren’t back but in so much pain 😭 I wish they would check for this but always say oh it wont be cancer as you’re too young.. I’m 28 but cancer doesn’t discriminate when it comes to who gets it when 🙄
Great job Dr. French.
UK here. 'Peter pocket'?
This man is a liar. Do your research vasectomies are dangerous detrimental look what it does to your immune system. Look at the inflammation. Look at the increased risk of cardiovascular disease, heart attack, and dementia.
Source of the study pls?
This is a terrific overview and explanation for an inguinal hernia and how to repair it. It's reassuring that the robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery approach was what my surgeon did to repair my hernia.
Thank you! 😊
WELL EXPLAINED
Oh no..I was really hoping to hear you could do a repair without using mesh!
Totally unexpected, I just realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's crazy! Although what he previously talked about was pretty decent, it was difficult to follow, I just go'ogled the latest in Mario's Thunderous Erections, it's so much simpler and potent now!
i noticed a small bulge in my groin area a about 2 years ago. Absolutely no pain, the size isn’t changing. I just thought i would check the internet today. Looks like I have this. Is it common to be completely painless?

Nice explanation. Takes some of the anxiety away. Best to get the repair done before it becomes a major problem.
I just got it. The other night the pain was so excruciating I thought I was gonna die. Came in did the procedure and didn't feel a thing. Take it from a first time surgery patient (scaredy cat), it was nothin, shoulda been had it performed. Don't let it turn into a major surgery!
@@arthurbrown4244 Yes, indeed; sometimes the worrry & anxiety is worse than the procedure or operations. At my age (85) there are a few procedures on the horizon. I've had several operations through the years.

I've had bad pain for 21 years, both family Dr's said it was prostatitis or just said it was all in my head... abdomen discomfort, bloating, urge to urinate more often, constipation, swollen scrotum...... fast forward 21 years my CT scan showed a small inguinal hernia.... my family dr is saying I'm fine and it's not causing anything!! 2 years ago I had hydrocele and she didn't prescribed anything... said it was normal. I need help asap!! This has ruined a big part of my life.
I'm a powerlifter and for a few weeks now been feelin a strange heavyness and a slight swelling in my testicals. A dull pain every once a while to about to make an apt with a urologist but is there a specific kind i should look for?
I’m in the exact same position,, what ended up happening??
@bigguy9924 they found a cyst 7mm in my sac they say it's to small to worry about let it grow to think about removal but pain hasn't really gone away thankfully ibuprofen and naproxuem are helping but I want this thing outta me it's painful hope it's a simple fix for us both go get jt checked out asap make sure it's just a small cyst
To add to that go to the hospital they'll test your blood and do an ultra sound since u went to the hospital thankfully this puts u at the top of the priority list for your local urologist and you'll follow up with them ASAP as they are spec'd for this and will firther help good luck friend@@bigguy9924

I was diagnosed with HSV 1&2 and thought my life was in a dead end.... i fight each day but the disease overtook my health and i was miserable looking for help. I’ve got a question this has been going on for years I’m curious if I have a hernia in my scrotum I have something in my scrotum that feels like a hernia but it doesn’t bother me and doesn’t hurt to the touch it’s close to my leg and only bothers me once in a while and when I feel it I can feel it in my lower stomach and it doesn’t hurt bad at all I work at fedex and lift heavy stuff a lot but I can still poop pee and it doesn’t hurt to do that so im wondering if a pulled muscle can feel that way I can also feel it once in awhile just above my penis on the right side of just below my stomach this has been going on for years so im wondering if a hernia stops me from going to the bathroom right away or if it takes a while
Same problem...... It's feels like pinching needling nerves on right side above pennis?
@@anandpanday4341 I’m still going to the bathroom just fine does a hernia keep you from going to the bathroom
a hernia doesn't necessary stop bathroom. what you described could in fact be a hernia.

How long is the recovery time after the surgery? Are you bed ridden?
When I was 23 I made the wonderful decision to move an oak entertainment center by myself. Went around a corner in the hallway and had to lift one end to shift its position and felt a massive stabbing pain in my groin, worse than being kicked there. I thought it was just a groin pull and would subside after a few hours. Woke up the next morning and felt a dull throbbing pain, the idea of a hernia never entered my mind. The pain continued, on and off for the next six months until I went to see my Dr. for an unrelated issue and that's when he noticed a bulge. I never noticed it myself but he recommended getting it taken care of as soon as possible because of the risk of strangulation as I got older. I didn't like the idea of my intestines pushing through a hole in my gut, it just freaked me out, so I had the surgery . Back then it was more invasive than it is now and I had an ugly scar for years afterwards. Good times.
What kind of specialist do I need to see for an inguinal hernia? Gastroenterologist, urologist?
Surgeon. How are you now?
Terrific explanation, thank you.
I’ve been having lots of pelvic pain and they found blood in my urine and it wasn’t a uti. I probably should see a gynecologist
