My big issue with the episode is it's strikingly similar to Homie the Clown. Even considering the changes it's almost like a remake of the same story.

I have never seen character design so lazy before the "Narwhals". Old SB would of had these Narwhals with larger rounder bodies and flippers in place of their human arms and hands, with the tusks alot bigger and resting on their foreheads just above the eyes. Would you even be able to tell these two char were supposed to be Narwhals without being told their supposed to be Narwhals?? Its some of the laziest character designs I have ever seen.

I'd like to believe that in the ending of the episode. The kids heard SpongeBob moping around feeling like he didn't know the true meaning of summer so they decided to cheer him up, especially since that kid told him to come outside, saying it was a summer miracle. Maybe they felt bad for SpongeBob. Hurting himself for them. So they decided to make it up to him by doing what they did in the end

Season 1 and 2 were in production around the exact same time and here's why. On the old "The Batman" page on Cartoon Network, it had the list of all the heroes and villains. It included ALL villains from S1 and S2. This was at thr very beginning of the show, well before S2 started.
