Porsche Macan GTS - Secret mountain pass in forest - POV Pure driving sound
In this POV video I drive one of my favorite hill from the bottom all the way to the top. The car is the Porsche Macan GTS, model from 2017 with 360HP.
Not bad for a family car.
Is the Macan a real Porsche? Well, I believe so. It is not as impressive as a 911 of course, and you feel less the speed as it's tall but still quite fast and a lot of fun to drive.

Filming specs:
I filmed this using a Canon C200 camera, with a lav mic attached outside, on the license plate (yes you read that well) and another standard mic mounted on the camera inside the cabin.

@@italianduded1161yes my mate owned the 2.8 biTurbo he was a enthusiast for these back 25 years ago. I remember him telling us the 2.0 version was faster & rarer . Bigger turbo more lighter made it more quicker

May I ask how do you secure the camera? There is so little space in exige.
Indeed very small space inside. I used a suction cup on the back (tiny) window and another one on the passenger side window. Some rods for attachment and voila

@@MADcarsmedia A friend of mine had a E30 318i with the badass 15" M rims and fat tyres. Horrible to drive at low speed and not really much better at 45+ speed... Angles were absurd and you needed big guns to handle that effing car... 🥵😰😅

What camera setup did you use for this? it looks and sounds great... I have an exige too!
Thanks! I used a Canon C200. Actually not great as it's not a small camera and the exige as you know has a very small cabin. The trick for the sound is that I used a lav mic, attached just above the exhaust. But the Exige sounds crazy anyway haha. I absolutely LOVE the Exige! Cheers.
