The 18lbs saved is from the 2 door cards and rear quarter panels. The csl center console saves another 7lbs

This came with the mishimoto kit. I opted to get the NPT probe from them As well to fit into the radiator instead of the radiator hose for a cleaner look

I found a good that I’d really like on the car but looking for some nice fenders to match. Will definitely try to get that installed soon

Haven’t had any issues with the intake so far. They do very intense research on the type of headers and exhaust setups from my personal experience

It still looks great and hasn’t delaminated but they changed the adhesive on it so I suggest getting and upgrade on that and it’ll work great

Haven’t been able to do much investigating on the flex fuel yet. Been on travel a lot but hopefully I’ll have some more time soon to run that down.

I reset all of the car’s adaptations and will see how the car behaves after a few hundred miles

How bad is it?

@@Qadi90wasn’t that bad. I ended up removing it and sticking on a new piece more towards the edge. I then stuffed another d shaped gasket under it to make it sturdier.

I don’t think that v1 restricts the flow but not sure how the v2 internal construction is to be able to say that there isn’t any restrictions

They did come out with a v3 design recently which is similar to my cpi from the looks of it.

The gaskets still look great and are adhered to the trim. From new purchase I recommend updating the adhesive since they changed it after I made the video

i think Semir did a whole video on his exhaust set up,. personally i think its a fruitless exercise, these engines never really sound 'great'. Just getting louder and developing more of that raspy sound. I've had quite a few friends go back to stock exhausts. Upgrading to the CSL air intake makes it plenty loud enough, and sounds incredible.

So I have a CPI section 1 (mainly on Bimmerworld). You can do euro headers which will add a lot of tone and with a proper tune wake the car up (+30hp). Cams are a great mod as well if you’re looking for more power. (Csl cams are great or upgrade csl Shrick cams)

I wouldn’t go too aggressive with cams because that’ll involve more work/expense plus it gets annoying with driving the car on the road if they’re too aggressive so it depends what you’re looking out of the car

AP mufflers tend to drone at freeway rpm’s. IMO the titanium AP is the worst from their lineup as far as drone

The exhaust that hasn’t droned even with headers is the supersprint muffler

Plan was to swap it to a manual but for the moment my smg is working too good. But if it gives out then it’ll most likely happen

Yea this exhaust setup kills most of the rasp the car produces. Inside the cabin you can hear both the intake and exhaust so I’ve been getting the best of both worlds

@@MunichVenom Same plan is with mine. i primarily looked for a manual when buying but the right one came up, for a good price with SMG. The SMG is surprisingly a really nice medium between a full manual and a auto. I'm finding it engaging enough on a bit of back road, and up in the mountains. I have the same plan. either waiting for the pump to go or to win lotto.

It’s more work than expected but also much more weight savings than I was initially expecting which was awesome

@@MunichVenom there are very very few e46 m3's with the csl door cards, and the csl center console. well worth it in my opinion.

😂 the trim pieces are at least 500 each for the base and even more if you get your hands on the gloss and the only reason we have to change them is because the rubber disintegrates. No replacement offered by bmw so we have the buy the whole trim or you can diy the fix for a few bucks

No, they are not. To begin with, it is a 19+ year old vehicle. The parts for those vehicles are as cheap as dirt. You can literally find them everywhere from Amazon to your local junkyard. I work at a BMW auto shop near Chicago called Bavarian Auto Werk. You going to tell how much these parts cost 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 okay bud. Whatever you said. You paying $500+ you getting f*** without vaseline.

Just cause you buy cheap used garbage parts buddy dont compare them to quality parts. There isnt shit cheap on e46 bmws and exactly why it isnt cheap cus its old and certain parts go for more $$$ i paid 230$ for my flat black drip rail so yea i can see a gloss version going for 400+ $

The seal getting replaced is mainly cosmetic. The water seal is on the inside in contact with the glass

Stoptech does make specific ones for non-m models. You just have to look it up under your model and it’ll show you all of the options available

This is with the 3dm dedicated track ohlins. I think they have 3 different versions for coilovers now
