What brand of decals? I've been shopping around for decals to do this scheme in 1/48. Sorry if you posted what you used somewhere and I missed it.
@@justasuggestion8216 I just raided the spares box and did my own. You only need a black 12 and a small 5F. The rest of the marking are pretty standard. Hope that helps

Thinking about doing this kit. What was your biggest 'take-away' learning from it? Are the decals well made and HQ prints?
@@soundknight oh blimey it was 3years ago. Not sure where that time went. Regarding the model, I think the decals on the main wing were a little short but they were good quality. Apart from that, all was ok.

@@Marigold_Tearooms thank you. From memory I don't remember modifying anything. Decal wise, they were kits at war but they were supplied by someone else. Had a quick browse but couldn't see anything in 48th

I'm afraid its just a case of lots of masking. Spray the light grey first then mask over that.

From memory, I think I trird Ak extreme metal polished aluminium. The rest of the colours are Mr colour

That vacuum formed canopy is the biggest letdown of this kit... Otherwise not bad if you consider that it has no (real) competition. (Apparently there is available now an injected canopy by Isradecal.)
