by the way if you dont have a torque multiplier: The Torque specs are 300Nm + 70° 70° because the torque multiplies only torque, so 60Nm * 5 are 300Nm but the degrees are lost due to friciton For that kind of torque, you will need a 3/4" Breaker bar and a 21 mm socket

I have a 2006 1.9tdi and on start up the revs seem to drop to around 500 something cutting out the engine or if not the throttle pedal doesn’t seem to react for a while!!! Any idea why it does this please? Clutch seems a bit jumpy too is it ready for a new clutch too? The vans done 167k and I’ve no idea wether the cam belt has ever been done 🤷🏼‍♂️

I am a novice and have the same model and want to get into servicing my own car. What are the part number for these items? is there a brand to avoid?

Last june 2023 i had my o/s/f suspension arm replaced (just 1 are they meant to replace both at the same time ?) Anyway in oct 2023 they then replaced o/s/f shocker top mount and bearing then this feb 2024 they have replaced both front suspension arms N/S/F shocker and N/S/F shocker top mount (and put 3 new tyres on even though one of the tyres they have replace was also put on new last August by another garage )( this all cost me £810 😢 So im still getting this knocking so i took it bk a week later and now the N/S/F coil spring and anti roll bar link needed replacing ! I leave the garage and its still knocking ,so a couple of days later i take it bk and the new coil spring they put on has broken and they replace it for free ,so i leave again and the knocking grating is slighty still there and then we have some rain and the noise stops ?? Then 2 days later its bk like B4 and it sounds to me like the other 2 times they said the coil spring has gone ,so its bk in the garage and bushes were mentioned but I'll have to see what they say tomorrow as you can imagine im pretty pissed off and being female am thinking they are just taking me 4 a ride ?? And do they even know what there doing ?? And why change one arm last June and now change 2??? Any advice ?? Ive paid £1000 already and just the hassle of constantly taking it bk 😢shouldn't they of checked the bushes and why would the coil spring keep snapping (ive been driving like miss daisy 😢😢) im just so down about it all

Hi guys I’ve a Renault Traffic 1.9d 2009 manual…engine coolant leaking and empties in a day. Somebody suggested it could be needing a cam belt and water pump? Any suggestions? It’s had 4 new OEM injectors and a new radiator - any advice greatly appreciated
