yes you are correct, it's glow plugs.

It's either a failing valvetronic motor or a failing DME. It can also depend on what scan tool is used for the relearn procedure. ISTA software is recommended.

@@upfixauto I’m using ista+ to relearn. Says dme is good in ista. I believe it’s the eccentric shaft I replaced tronic motor but nothing so I believe shaft got significant scoring.

There are LED lights on the circuit board. For some of the older GM vehicles, they have incandescent lights.

Yes, for sure, when it is hot outside this issue is more common because the TCM unit gets really hot and starts to fail because of its location.
