Hey @upfixauto I have an issue with my 2016 chrysler 300s i was wondering if you could know what it is. When i turn off my car after driving or if i turn it on and right back off the guage cluster, push to start, shifter lights stay on and drain my battery overnight. it stays on till it drains the battery but when i disconnect the negative terminal on the battery and put it back on it turns off just like normal im guessing it gives it a mini reset. but would this method work for me?

Will this no require to code something after a hard reset such as having to code airbags etc. My Mini / BMW likes to throw some codes if something isn't done their way..

I have a 97 expedition eddie bauer edition, recently my dash lights, climate control lights, and window switch lights have quit.The only interior lights are the dome light and radio light.Radio still wotks with the dash dimmer..I changed the headlight switch and it started smoking,changed it again same thing. Could this be a gem module problem?Cluster ptoblem maby?Any advice helps

I think the logic portion of my 2003 Lesabre cluster is causing PCM problems. Turn the key barely a 16th of an inch and the PRNDL light comes on and the fuel pump primes. No other power to anything! Then continue to turn the key to the ON/RUN position, all the lights come on like they should and the fuel pump primes again like its supposed to. Can this cluster cause anti-theft and DIM module issues also? The car stalls intermittently.

I have a 2007 RAV4 4wd, I bought in October 2023, after almost a week of having it I noticed a shutter. Thought it was just the surface of the road. I finally had a mechanic test driving it when it happened. They said the torque converter and best to change transmission and out new torque converter. Had a second mechanic do the same and they said the same thing. The transmission was replaced with one with 78k miles and new torque converter out in it. The shutter started again shortly after getting it back. Then they thought maybe other issues, months later and thousands of dollars later, it is still happening. Also had dash lights coming on and changed a bunch of parts for the lights to only come on again. The shuttering only happens when it’s in drive, if you put it in 3 it doesn’t happen. I saw a video where they said you have to have a software update after replacing transmission and torque converter or it will start happening again. Is this fix you are showing on this video something that would fix these issues and do you do this for 2007 4wd model parts as well? The code showing when the dash lights come back on now is only showing P0171 after changing several parts. My mechanic talk to a guy from Toyota and the said it might need a new computer and that may be causing the lights to come on. My mechanic said he needs to flash the computer? What do you think?

Ok i have a 2005 grand marquis where the front and rear lights will turn off and on whenever they want at one point the turning signals stop working after a month of knocking on the lcm for it to work temporarily so i replaced the lcm from a company that rework them it worked for about a week then start doing the same thing again so i went under the dash thinking it could be the wires so i moved the wires around and lights didnt come back on so i tapped on the lcm and the lights pop back on but goes out soon after....do this sound like a wire issue or both lcm was bad...side note i can manually turn on the front lights with the switch on the dash while the rear lights still not working but the automatic day time running lights come on and off whenever

Anyone else have the singular problem of just the turn signals not flashing? My LCM seems to work fine all my lights come on but my only issue is that my signals dont blink, the bulbs are fine everything comes on and I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and that caused them to work for 20 minutes before stopping on the highway. Anyone know how to help? I dont want to spend hundreds on a new one but I might have to just get a refund from my autozone warranty. I can't just send my LCM over for repair because then I wont be able to drive anywhere

Hey so I was told by a mechanic friend to actually have my car on accessory mode when I start to disconnect the battery to do this hard reset do you think that’s ok?

I have an Audi A7 with this issue. Is this something that can be done with the battery connected? Last time I took the battery off it corrupted my BCM. I’m doing everything possible to not disconnect it

Wrong, this company Upfix had me pay $800 over the phone and said as soon as I returned the core, which I did, that they would refund me a $350 core fee. They ended up telling me that my core was defective and they kept my money. I called them back, I let the Mensa candidate who answered the phone “of course it was defective, that is why I purchased a new module from you!” Don’t use these people, they never said anything about condition of the old part that I was replacing.
